I waited a whole year to review this mattress, it comes vacuum sealed and expands quickly so be ready to place it on your mattress frame. It didnt have any sort of smell and came in a washable zippered cover. This mattress is firm but supportive. I slept comfortably in this bed for all 9 months of pregnancy. After a year of use (myself, my husband and our four year old sleep here every night) the mattress has zero denting. Overall this is an excellent mattress!

Exceptionally pleased with our mattress purchase!  Now that my husband and I have slept on it for two weeks, I feel like I can finally write my review. 

We are both in love with it!  It came delivered to our door rolled up, wrapped in a thick protective plastic in a box, in which my husband took to our bedroom (remember not to open the plastic bag until you get to your bed as it wants to unravel as soon as you open the bag), and followed the instructions on how to easily install the mattress.  After you remove the first layer of plastic, you will find out there's another layer of protection when you unroll it to truly ensure your mattress is spotless.  Great attention to detail! 

After we removed all the layers of protection, we gave it about a day to let it rest and return to its original shape.  But really, within the first few minutes, our new mattress was already puffing up.  I had to close our bedroom door to keep our cat away from it, as the first thing he would do is jump on the mattress and sleep, so there was a mild smell when I went back into my bedroom 10 hours later, but once I opened the door, and dressed the bed up, the smell went away.  It was honestly not bad at all.     

On the first night of sleep in our new mattress, my husband and I noticed that the bed itself was cool to the touch, which is a very nice feature!  We have slept on the new mattress for two weeks, and the waking up has been fantastic.  Its the right amount of firmness for my back!  It doesn't sink in when you sit on it, it stays true, and my back has been thanking me.  I have been waking up feeling refreshed from my sleep, and actually earlier without my alarm clock's help.  Also, when my husband goes to bed later, I don't wake up to him getting in bed at all -  I am able to sleep through all of his movements!

We are extremely happy with our new zinus mattress!

Sleeping like a baby

Had this for 2 years now and when i tell you i sleep alazing. No back pain or anything. Its firm but not rock hard still some cushioning for comfort

Bought 2 of these based on the description 12” deep....nice mattress... however... even after the 48 hour... neither mattress is past 10”... that is the only dissapointing thing.

This Mattress is very very hard and not comfortable to lay on. I had ordered this same Mattress years ago, and it was very comfortable. I have no idea what has changed. I can't sleep on this brick of a Mattress
