Instruction Clarity

Unpacked box. Tried to follow the "Easy as 123 " photo instructions. Useless. There weren't 2 "#1" peices. Actually thought one of them wasn't in box. Shipping said 9 frame peices. There were 9. Finally looked at bed frame picture. Laid out peices on bed frame. Only thing I used instruction sheet for was to see which screws went where. Could have saved myself 15 minutes if I just would have done that in the first place.

Don't pay attention the instructions!

zinus.com

I'm a 78yr old mechanically skilled arthritic, the most difficult step was bringing the box in and making myself follow the directions. Pros: Best directions I've seen in years. Excellent small parts package, well marked, even the spares. Good provided tools. All the parts fit!!! Cons: Nothing of consequence, the cross bars are a "snug" fit, I tapped them in with a rubber mallet. Total time from box opening to setting the mattress on top was just under an hour and a half.

Too Simple too be True

This was very easy for a single mom of 4 to put together! I couldn't believe how easy it was! By the time Dirty Dancing was finished, I had my box spring put together and bed up and ready to sleep in! Would highly recommend.

Love this Boxspring!!!

i wasnt amazed because i previously had purchased a zinus mattress but what was cool was how easy it was to put together, cover and slip onto the frame under the mattress (yes i know i did everything backwards ) and how everything came together like clockwork. Thanks Zinus!

sleep well my friends

It's a tad over-engineered - instructions for assembly need more words, less pictures.
We were disappointed in the height of the assembled bed from floor. Looks juvenile. Now we will have to get a bed frame to make it look like real furniture. Too bad we had inherited the platform/mattress frame from a previous owner of our house and we had to make lemonade from a lemon.

Reworking a platform bed to look like furniture

I could be prematurely reviewing this, meaning it probably is a good a box frame. However, putting it together was very difficult. The directions coupled with the way the pieces were labeled were hard to read and the screws were very finicky when assembling, even with a drill. So again, my rating is not based on the quality of the product but rather on the assembly.

Assembly

Takes far longer than the "few" minutes advertised to assemble. Will not be purchasing again.

More assembly required

The instructions for this was not clear at all I literally built this looking at the finished product and doing trial and error why would you make each step so zoomed in when the whole thing looks alike

INSTRUCTIONS WERE NOT CLEAR

Need the legs and the box spring does not bring them.

Box spring with no legs

Bends. I sleep alone in a full size and I have a new mattress as well. After 8 months or so my brother helped me take it off to get a good look. What loose twisted hollow bending junk it is. I'm only 125 lbs. Bent in the middle.
