I have used this product for 50 years – and something has changed in the last year. It turns to mush within 10 seconds of pouring milk.  Not sure if  they've changed the recipe, but I do feel they have.  Very disappointing!!

The All Bran that I have consumed for several decades was re formulated into something awful. The consumer backlash means it's now been taken off the sehelves.

The demise of All Bran

Change it back to the original. The one from the '60s. This new formula is crap. Turns into some sickly mushy turds in milk. No crunch no flavor. I had one bowl, dumped half of it down the drain, threw the almost full box in the garbage. Do not buy until it changes back to the true 'original '

Don't use milk if you expect crunch.

Bought on Monday without know of any changes to the product but could immediately tell the difference. It's simply awful now. I'll stop buying until it's bank to the old version

The title "Original" is a lie.  Kelloggs have destroyed Allbran.  It tastes all pasty now. I am 62 and have eaten Allbran since I was 16 but this morning I opened a new box and it has totally changed and tastes like a cheap, low quality alternative.  I shall now simply buy bran from a health food shop.  I am sure that there are many old Allbran consumers who will feel the same.

Disaster

I started eating this cereal many years ago to keep me regular. I didn't mind the bland taste at all. It worked and I fell good starting my morning with it. Then a few years back, I started to notice that they had increased the amount of sugar in it and kept increasing the amount to a whooping 9 grams per I/3 of a cup!!! That is soooo much sugar. I hate that I can no longer eat it because now it is extremely unhealthy. The one cereal that was actually good for you, has turned into a threat to your health. It is ok that it doesn't taste sweet. It's not supposed to. For crying out loud, can there be some cereals left out there that do not give everyone diabetes??????

I agree the cereal has been ruined.  It's tastes and feels synthetic and definitely not healthy. With the old version I loved the fact you could choose whether to eat quickly after adding milk to catch it crunchy, or leave it to go mushy - my preference. Can't do that any more.

I too have been eating All Bran for decades, but will not continue. So disappointed.

Allbran used to be my favourite cereal but the new recipe is vile and I will no longer be buying this product.

I can't believe the difference in this cereal. I thought there was something wrong with it when I opened a new box. The cereal looks and tastes completely different in all negative ways. Yuck. I'll be throwing the entire box away and will look for a healthy cereal to replace it. This had been our favorite cereal. Disappointed,

I bought this product because I wanted to try something different.  I expected to to be similar to Fiber One whole grain bran cereal from Post. I love Fiber One!  It couldn't compare.  I added milk to the cereal and it turned into a paste.  It was mush.  This was the worst bran cereal I have ever tried.  To say the least I was extremely disappointed with he quality.

I like this cereal the most because of the taste of course and also because it is so high in fiber.  I also like the fact that the amount of sodium for me is very acceptable.  There are so many cereals I can't have due to the sodium content.  The All Bran Buds are an example of too high of a sodium content so, I stick with All Bran Original.  The problem now is that they aren't making the Original anymore and you can't find it anywhere.  Production has been stopped and they tell me they don't know when production will start again.  Very sad and seems to me this shouldn't be that hard to solve.
