These short ribs turned out really well, but should be braised for best results.  Braising means searing initially at high heat to create an outer crust and then cooking on low heat after covering the ribs in your liquid/marinade of choice (I used water).  These ribs are somewhat fatty around the edges, and you have to eat around the bones, but they taste delicious.  I simply seasoned with salt and pepper.

Tasty short ribs

The product was fine, however I would have preferred the ribs long and not cut crosswise

Chuck short ribs

Marinate in bulgogi sauce.  Then barbeque

The little ribs were succulent, I made them with red wine

Short Ribs

I am used to thicker cuts of short-ribs after living out west, so I was initially disappointed that these strips are so thin. But they cooked up fine and were delicious.

Very Thin But Very Good

Might try this again but found it a little to fatty. So, it might be the cook, or I need to find another way to cook it! Was just a tad too tough to chew as well.

Not quite what we were expecting unfortunately.

Beef

Although the BB date was two days from the date I was cooking, the meat was off. This is not the first time my Walmart meat has gone off before it was supposed to. I will not be buying meat from Walmart going forward.

Rotten

These ribs had an awful smell and smelly taste when cooked. Will not buy again for that price.
