Butterball Turkey Bacon is slowly roasted over hardwood chips to give it the authentic flavour …with 50% less fat than pork bacon! It's made from great tasting turkey meat (no pork) and is already cooked so there is minimal shrink when heated. Enjoy it with eggs for breakfast or on a BLT for lunch.  Prepared in Canada.  Raised on Canadian farms.

heathy alternative to traditional bacub

Bacon

No it's not bacon but it makes you think it's bacon.  It tastes great, doesn't make a mess cooking it, no more expensive than real bacon, and it's healthy

Tastes really good

This bacon is a great alternative compared to pork bacon! It tastes leaner, healthier and zero grease! My daughter loved having this and said it was one of the best meals she has had! If I can get my kids to eat, that is a win in my books! It was easy to cook - I tried both on the frying pan and the microwave method and both tasted good.

Taste great

I'm eating all kinds of meat and deli so it was great to try something new. Turkey bacon is a great option for dietary choices and good for people who don't eat pork. The only one thing that after frying it's not that crispy and aromatic as pork bacon. But need to know that it tastes so great and it's more healthy. Highly recommend!

Great substitute for pork bacon

Loved the taste of this turkey bacon though I wished it wasn't so salty! I put it in a ciabatta bun along with some garlic shrimp with fried onions %26 mushrooms and it was delicious. It added crispy texture to my sandwich.

It was easy to cook in a non-stick frying pan. You do have to use a large frying pan if you want to get more than 3-4 strips cooking at once as the strips are double the thickness of bacon. I cooked it for 9 minutes for crispy turkey bacon as suggested on the packaging. I really liked that it wasn't oily at all when I laid it all out on a paper towel, the towel came out pretty clean with very little grease on it. I still prefer regular bacon but would eat this as a healthier alternative.

Tast but salty!

This product was an allowed substitution for one that was not available. It's salty for my taste but others might not notice. Unfortunately I read the ingredients after I received the product. I wouldn't have purchased it if I had realized what it's made of.

It's not for me.

Meat was slimy inside the package. Date was good so it must have been out too long. Didn't smell right.

Not a good purchase.
