Summary - the basic product is very good. I have worn many pairs of these in the past. Usually I have bought them in store where I could select an unworn pair, but recently they have been unavailable in my size in my local Walmart. This latest online order arrived in poor condition with signs that someone else had already at least tried them on and had worn them on a limited basis. This I find very unsatisfactory at the best of times, but especially as we live in a time of continued pandemic!!

This is the second pair of these shoes I have bought online as my size was no longer available in my local Walmart. The first pair, on an order about a month earlier, arrived in pristine condition, sealed in its original plastic wrap, inside a standard Walmart shipping box. This most recent order arrived in a standard Walmart shipping box, but inside was a pair of shoes that had clearly been tried on and worn by someone else, not in their original plastic wrap, but instead in a broken Dr. Scholl's box that was covered in dust. I am planning to return this latest pair and reorder this same shoe online when it becomes available in my size again. They are currently unavailable in my size in either taupe or black.

If you want to unload product in this condition, I suggest you offer it for sale to those of your associates who are responsible for looking after this inventory and clearly not doing a very good job of it!!

Received Product in Not Entirely New Condition

I wouldn't call this a hiking boot. These are my daily walking shoes. The built in Dr. Shoals support is firm and leaves my feet pain free all day. (Not something I can say of other brands). These are well constructed shoes and provide long wear.  A great product at a great price.

These are my preferred shoes.

This shoe has done me very well over the years. This was my third pair bought from Walmart. I wear them daily and have to replace them about 2 years later. They are good quality and fit very true to size.

Really don't understand why they call it a "Boot" but they are affordable and comfortable.  Certainly nothing special about them.  But they do their job.

I couldnt check my original order as I believe I checked in as  visitor but when I contacted customer service they checked and said Id ordered 8 wide which Im sure I didnt. Havent been able to return them to Walmart due to the virus but can now and will. They are far too wide.
