Can be straightforward, but also requires patience and skill in some cases.

The bed is super cute and the perfect size for a toddler. Assembling alone was a pain because you have to place each little slat of wood into holes and keep them all in place while you screw both the top and bottom pieces of wood in place. Random slats kept falling out as I struggled to keep them all in place. It took everything in me not to destroy the entire thing and give up. Once you get the head and footboards together its smooth sailing.

Definitely recommend but assembly sucks!

Bought for my 20 month old granddaughter's visit. She's still sleeping in a crib at home but her first night in this bed went wonderfully! Sturdy and regular crib mattress fits perfectly in it.

Wonderful for toddler!

It's a nice little bed.  We turned the bottom rails over and didn't install the side safety rails on the bed.  There really isn't a need since the top is only about 16 inches off the ground, and if my daughter falls off the bed, she just gets back in.

nice and cheap

The price was great and even though it was kinda a pain in the butt to put together its been a great product and we have had no issues with it at all. My son loves it and I would recommend it to anyone of my friends.

Great bed for my 2 year old

My son loves his bed and I like that I didn't have to settle for a plastic themed one in case he dislikes cars and toy story in a week or two. This bed is perfect for my little man, it makes him feel very grown up and I love the way it looks in his room.

Good toddler bed

I read various reviews before deciding to buy this bed; some reviews were good and some were bad but the majority of the complaints made by previous buyers was the difficulty they faced assembling it. Well I am here to honestly tell you they were right. If my husband and I weren't both activity helping one another and holding pieces we never would have got it completed. Once assembled my daughter loved her bed but it's not a one man job. Definitely have someone with u to help build it.

Not a One Man Job!!!

If you do not have anyone to help you assemble this bed, you are in for the headache of your life! Connecting the slats to the headboard/footboard and bottom was the most frustrating experience I've ever had! When one side was secured and I moved down to the other side, it would come loose and so it went for almost an hour!!! Don't get me wrong, the bed is beautiful once you get it together. Have fun!

Horrible to Asemble (Alone)

THE HOLES DIDN'T MATCH UP AND PIECE BROKE OFF VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PURCHASE, WE RIGGED IT TOGETHER AS IT WAS A GIFT TO A CHILD WHO DIDN'T HAVE A BED SO WE CANT SEND BACK.

DONT BUY

I read all of the instructions before I put anything together. I ended up having to take it apart 2-3 different times because I missed a piece because the instructions weren't specific enough. It's also very cheaply made. I bought this bed from Wal-Mart so I could take advantage of the Site-to-Store, but I coud have paid the same amount somewhere else and gotten a better quality bed.
