Delicious blend of spice, vegetable and yummy dressing.

Delicious Salad!

If you ate this entire bag that would be 400 calories with
48 grams of sugar!!!! You can make this delicious salad healthier. 
 I use half this bag of salad mix (2 cups) and add 1 cup of chopped spinach. To beef it up. That make is 3 cups. Repeat with the remaining salad mix. You will have 2 servings which will be 3 cups each. 

Now reduce the sugar by adding the dressing to a very small bottle then add 1/4 cup water (or buy 2 bags and use that dressing also, still do a 1 to 1 ratio) You will not get the same thickness but it will still have that same great flavor. Shake well before serving. Only use 2 tablespoons of dressing for your 3 cups salad mix. The sugar will be reduced to 3 grams per serving (based on not having the mango pieces.) You will have leftover dressing. 

I did find out that for 1 cup there are 8 grams of added sugar (in the dressing) Which would mean there are 4 grams of sugar from the mango pieces (if you divide that tiny bag into 4, I assume). It's still added sugar even if comes from fruit. So even if they taste yummy I leave them out. 

I can't figure out how many calories would be in the 2 tablespoons of dressing. I don't think it would be too bad considering that water is the second ingredient and the soybean oil is low on the list. 

It's hard to find salad mix kits that are vegan so I'm happy to have found this one. Just so I can have something different than my usual homemade dressing & salad. It's also gluten-free!
