These are very cute and made of your typical flexible "jelly" shoe material, but they would do best on a child with a high instep or fatter foot. My daughter has a very narrow, slim foot and ankle, and although the actual sole fits fine size wise, the straps don't even touch her feet at all and hover inches above her skin, even when tightening the ankle strap.
