Normally I buy the name brand cheddar cheese slices but decided to try this one as I noticed my regular brand wasn't on sale. Upon tasting it, I thought it was a good product and to be honest, I'd be hard pressed to distinguish between the two brands on a blind taste test. I plan to try the other varieties that Great Value offers.

I didn't realize I have picked up a lactose free cheese until I got home. I was a little unsure thinking it would taste different and my baby would be picky about it. I was wrong. Texture is great flavour is the same and baby still enjoys it would pick up again.

Something different but not

Initially bought this in error not knowing it was the lactose free cheese. I didn't even notice the taste wise. Ate half the cheese before noticing the label. Good alternative for lactose free diets. Does not affect my family but would purchase again if the regular cheese is not available

Tastes like regular cheese

Bought the great value lactose free marble cheddar cheese slices by accident but was surprised with it as it's absolutely the same taste and texture as the regular one. Can't notice the difference other than the packaging

I'm lactose intolerant but I find the cheese without it sometimes tastes different. These ones were delicious and my sons didn't even realize they were different! Will buy again!

Delicious!

Great Value lactose free cheese tastes the same as standard cheese and makes a great grilled cheese without the digestive upset. It has good flavour and melts really well.

Great Grilled Cheese

This is a great alternative to regular dairy cheese. My daughter is able to eat it without a reaction. The only issue I have had is that the slices are very hard to separate without them falling apart and ripping into tiny pieces. Other than that, they are great.

A good alternative

I purchased these for my neighbour as she is lactose intolerant and she enjoys these. The cost and quality of GV cheese is great compared to the big branded giants. The cheese has good aroma and melts nicely and stringy.

I actually accidentally bought the product without reading the specifics but the cheese still taste good and I can't tell the difference from the regular one.
