Love this product. Convenient packaging keeps it fresh (prevents freezer-burn) and easy to thaw. Perfect amount for a batch of tomato sauce for 4-6 people. I don't think I've ever found any bone chips or gristle. Starts out smooth and pasty, but when fully cooked, is similar in texture to ground beef. So much cheaper and less packaging than the alternative (~400g in plastic container).

A must have in the freezer

Love the 4 individual wraps of 1 pound each. Product tasted great and the price is right

Very good value.   The ground turkey is a low cost to feed a family.   
I can highly recommend if you are on a tight budget.    Buy the Great Value Tomato sauce, pasta and you have a complete meal.   Remember veggies too.

Harvest Creek Extra Lean Ground Turkey Raw

Good ground turkey. I would recommend that if you're going to shaping into patties, meatballs, etc. that you do NOT thaw it out completely. It is easier to work with when it's chilled.

Good value, but best used for sauces/soups and cooked down to disguise texture. Wouldn't recommend for things like tacos

Very price friendly. The texture is different, like a mousse or pâté. I would like to know what parts of the turkey are used to make the turkey paste. Taste was okay, but not as flavorful as regular ground turkey. I can see how this would be good to feed a larger family on a budget.

Great price; toothpaste like texture

The product is named extra lean but the nutrition facts at the back of the package indicates that there is 17 grams of fat in every 1/2 cup of the product. I do not believe that a product with apparently such a high fat content as per  its own  small print nutritional content information could legitimately be classified as "extra Lean" . Therefore, I would appreciate an explanation from Harvest Creek the producer or Walmart the seller and that the words "extra lean" be deleted from the product name.
