Very well crafted boots.  Comfortable inside with thick insulation and a well cushioned soul.  The velcro strap across the front of the boot provides added grip to the foot, making for a firmer tread while walking - your foot does not slip around  inside the boot while you walk - and above all else, they are very warm.

My son is so, so, so picky about shape and pressure and texture of materials and he has very wide feet, and he LOVES these! Talk about a Christmas Miracle!! This is the first footwear of any kind that he had no complaints about; he found them so comfy he wore them around the house half the morning!

PERFECT! The search is finally over!

My 11 yr old son had these boots last year.  They looked pretty beat up by the end of the season and would sometimes get wet inside. 
This year I wanted to try a different style for him and he tried on many other styles / brands of boots but did not like any of them (they were too big, too heavy, too uncomfortable).  I ordered these ones again for him this year and he's very happy with them.

Good for my preteen

Great pair of winter boots for my son! They are very warm for him, as well as true to being waterproof.  I would reccomend these to anyone that likes an easy slide on slide off boot.

Got these for my 12 year-old with wide feet. He says they're very comfortable and rates them 5 stars. We haven't tested the Canadian cold yet (it's been pretty mild weather so far), but they seem pretty warm! I'm very happy with our purchase.

Decent for the price my biggest complaint is that the sole is thin so I can feel everything in walking on and it has no support. It's Like wearing really thick socks with rubber on them. Putting in extra insoles made it much better. Not sure how I feel about the velcro system. Not terrible but not great. I wouldn't do any serious trekking in these.
