I bought the black and grey in a size 9. I normally take an 8.5 shoe and boot. These do not come in half sizes.  First these boots look better in person. They are well made solid boots. They go above the ankle. I found these boots heavy and stiff. They are also a wide fit. When I walked they slipped up and down. I could have gotten away with an 8 as there was  room above and to the side of my big toe. The stiffness may be because they are new. I found them heavy and clunky. You may not. This style boot is new to me.  I do recommend.
