Oops, I reviewed green kiwis by mistake… these gold ones are less tart, taste better I think but are more expensive

Better than green kiwis, worth the extra cost

I perfer the gold over green kiwi, they are way sweeter %26 less tart. Be careful, they are soo good that i ate the entire 2LB container.

BEST KIWI EVER

If peak harvested and marketed at the same time, the goldies are preferred over the greenies, for whatever undetermined reason.  However because harvest and market times might not coincide, it's a buyer's hit or miss.  NZ does produce the better kiwis, compared to other countries that have been sourced-tried.

I've never tried the golden kiwis until now and I find them a bit bland, I'd rather have the green kiwis but the green kiwis are way too expensive at Walmart. And I was thinking of trying the Walmart brand of the frozen kiwis but the reviews are terrible, maybe it's because Kiwi‘s just don't freeze very well. I find that this with a lot of the Walmart brands, really bad quality.

I like the green kiwi is better.

i have noticed that this batch was different from the previous ones. they look worse than they taste. they are smaller, not that appetizing looking than previous, but at least the taste is not bad. Previous ones were better

The photograph here is Zespri gold Kiwi box and in realty Walmart is providing 3rd standard gold kiwi. I bought twice and both time was really upset with the quality.

Worse quality

The quality of all the kiwis in the box was bad. All of them had squishy spots. Once cut open and tasted you could taste the fermentation, indicating they were going bad.

Bad quality

Awful quality. Should not have even been on the shelf. Over half of them are rotten. Really a shame after spending $10.

Refund request

The fruit looked fine but when I opened the container at home they were very soft and mushy. I made very expensive jam out of them. Kiwi doesn't make great jam but it was better than composting them.
