When I was a child I remember there was nothing like Ontario strawberries. We use to go out to the farms and pick strawberries for hours and we would eat lots while picking (picking is hard work after all and the farmers expect this) coming home to make jam for the winter. Well those days are gone but these Canadian strawberries are like an old friend and bring back the memories. Buy Canadian

Nothing like Ontario strawberries

Really surprised at the low rating on these strawberries. I've found them to be excellent. Great flavour and good looking . So far not a bad one in the containers I've purchased. I think some credit goes to the people that pick and pack my order .

The are the best strawberries I have ever bought and they are local strawberries, which makes them even better. You can definitely taste the difference I will continue to buy them.

Local Strawberries

I've been so pleased with these strawberries as said before. So far never a bad one and outstanding flavor. Little gems are Canadian hot house growen. Field fresh so yummy but it's winter people!

The best strawberries I ever bought during winter! Not too sweet, a bit sour but very juicy. Perfection!

I would rather buy greenhouse local strawberries during off season than the ones imported from the US.  They have so much flavour and a good texture (not hard).  I was so happy they were on special for 1.94$ What a deal!!

Ontario Strawberries

Advertised as fresh local (we are in strawberry season here) but given USA strawberries, lm in Canada and no mention of a substitution.

I've had great products from Walmart's produce dept. in the past, so I'm going to assume this was a fluke...the quite expensive local strawberries turned out to be frozen...and sadly, when they thaw they are soggy, as frozen berries usually are...

These are sour and white inside.. very tough.. unripened by the sun obviously.. force ripened and dyed red..
