I buy these all the time as I can depend on them being fresh and tender. This  last batch was larger than ever and we were able to get several meals out of one package.

Large and Tender

I’ve purchased maple leaf chicken breast for awhile and for some reason this product is consistently stringy and tough  when cooked.
Maybe some process they do but I’ve bought from other stores like metro and cooked under the same conditions and they are wildly different products. 
This products no matter how juicy or well cooked, has stringy tough muscle fibres compared to buying from other stores or butchers

It’s forever been only 12.97 a set price now all of a sudden they made it be priced by the weight and cost much more, always got my weekly shopping due to them having the cheaper products but not anymore.

Unbelievable

Paid $12.94 for a pack last week and now it’s average $15.57, around a 20% increase depending on the weight. It was already expensive but it’s super ridiculous now

Absolutely disgusting that this has gone up in price by almost 3 dollars. So much for an affordability Walmart!! this is price gouging at its worst. Shame on you!!!

For the past year, every single time I buy chicken breast from Walmart, 2/4 pieces are so rubbery and chewy, no matter how I cook it. I can barely cut through it with a knife it just becomes mush and is so difficult to chew, for the price we pay there’s no excuse for this poor of quality.

Horrible quality

Why is this chicken so awful? We had to switch to metro chicken because this is not edible. The chicken is chewing and such a strange texture, it feels like you’re chewing on an eraser. I thought maybe I was be being picky but my son in law who is 4 hours away also has the exact same issue with the Walmart chicken. It’s very unappetizing. Spend a bit more for food that doesn’t turn you off a meal. It’s so wasteful. You would think Walmart or maple leaf would have realized by now or more likely they don’t care to produce a quality product.

Like Chewing an Eraser

This Chicken is a total rip off. Each package is $12.94 each, but it is not sold on the weight!! 
I ordered 2 packages. One weighs approximately 2 pounds and the 2nd one just over one pound. They should be Sold by weight and price per pound. This fact is not listed anywhere on Walmart's website or on the Online shopping.

This was by far the worst chicken ive ever had. After it was cooked it was SO tough and chewy i ended up throwing the leftovers out. Very dissapointing
