While Maple Leaf is  'carbon neutral company', as stated on the pack, what does that really mean for me? I focus on what I am giving my family to eat.  I absolutely love that there are really only 5 ingredients but "fruit & spice extract" doesn't tell me much. This product is gluten and nitrate free (which is great) but it's still pretty salty unnecessarily.  The slices could be thinner so we would be able to fold onto our sandwiches more easily! Overall,  the flavour is lovely but still salty. In the end, far too expensive to purchase regularly.

Salty Smoked Black Forest Ham

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was surprised by the quality of this ham.  Simple, clean ingredients and excellent taste.  I find it very versatile from sandwiches to egg cups to chopped up in salad.  Good price as well.  My only recommendation is to find an alternative packaging that is either compostable or an alternative to plastic.
