such a cool alternative to a smart phone. my kid loves it and I didn't have to give in and give her a phone that has untethered access to apps and the Internet. a safe compromise that allows her to still text and call her feiends

This watch is super handy for little kids! I love that it has a gps tracker. It’s a great size and pretty colors. Seems comfortable and the battery lasts a while. Definitely recommend!

i love the watch the application control is a little difficult because of poor directions but once you get it hooked up it's a great value for the money

As a parent, I am always on the lookout for technology that can help keep my child safe while also providing them with some independence. The myFirst Fone R2 does just that. I can easily keep track of my daughter's location using the companion app on my phone. The app is user-friendly and provides real-time updates on her whereabouts. I also appreciate the geofencing feature, which allows me to set up safe zones and receive notifications if my daughter leaves those areas. 
When I need to get in touch with my kid,  my daughter can easily call me or her dad with the touch of a button, and we can see each other's faces.  My daughter loves taking pictures and playing games on her smartwatch. The step counter is also a great way to encourage her to be more active.

Great for young kids

This is extremely hard to figure out. 
Then you have to pay $12 a month 
Better to just wait to buy your kid a phone 
Bc this is NOT worth it . 
Normally I don’t do negative reviews, but, 
Save  your money. 
There bulky watches that are extremely uncomfortable for kids .
The set up is … well, not American 
Timing is off . There’s barcodes and Apps your family is going to have to stop and download . Nahhh….
Way too much trouble for a watch that doesn’t even work well.

Buy a phone

I’m so torn about the watch and whether or not I like it… we’ll start with the positives first. It’s cute, easy to use from the kid perspective, and gives peace of mind for younger kids without exposing them to the internet. Now for the negatives… it is so, and I mean so, NOT user friendly from the parent/setup perspective, they cannot text—only pre existing texts, the location/gps feature is still not working on or watch and I’ve tried everything. I want to love the watch, but I’m considering returning it and getting an Apple Watch instead.

A few tweaks could make this product untouchable

The watch itself is good, but the battery life is very poor it barely lasts a full day. The GPS is not very accurate as advertised. I paid for a one-year subscription, but I feel like I wasted my money. I don’t really recommend this watch for kids.

This watch is very hard to set up. And wouldn't connect to my wifi. So I could not finish setting it up. And my son never got to use it.
