This has honestly been a true lifesaver for me, I moved into an apartment that was infested with mosquitoes on the outside area. I purchased this and put it by the front door, my bathroom and even the main bedroom and it consistently would catch mosquitoes. 
I would honestly choose this device over the plugins that go in the wall. For whatever reason, those ones don't attract the mosquitoes but this definitely does! 
I will be buying a second one so I can keep it in multiple rooms at once.

This product keeps gnats and any other flying insects out of my house. It captures anything that is flying because of the blue light they go to that light and then end up getting sucked into the machine. I absolutely love it.

Awesome product

I was pleasantly surprised. It caught so many flies %26 knats. Most are caught at night when all the other lights are out. The instructions were easy to follow %26 the fan is quiet. I love that the insects are hidden. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

It really works!

Amazing product! Was a bit skeptical at first but it really works! I have one for my office. I think I need to invest in one for the house.

Amazing Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not anticipating liking the STEM flying insect trap as much as I do. Our neighborhood gets an influx of houseflies and gnats every spring, and this arrived for me to test right after that started. This was very easy to set up - you add the glue trap, put the top back in place and plug in. The fan is very quiet and is generally not noticeable until you’re close up. The UV lights are a bit bright, so we had to play around with its placement a bit to avoid seeing it at night. This fan trap is surprisingly effective. Essentially flies are attracted to the light and get sucked in by the fan, getting stuck in the glue trap. The photo of the trap is after just a few days of use. I will note that the fan is more effective for fruit flies than house flies; I think since they’re larger they can more easily fly away from the fan. However, our trap has caught plenty, so it is effective for all of these types of insects. I really like that it can be charged and run on that if you need to set it up away from a plug. The glue traps do need replacement somewhat regularly; we’ve been testing ours for about 3 weeks and it needs to be changed. The refills are affordable, and given that we only have a few months of the year where insects are an issue, I find it completely reasonable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The STEM flying insects fan trap arrived just in time. This device can be used indoors or outdoors & is perfect for a small sitting space. I love that it’s chemical free and safe for my pets too. The fan has a small hum to it, but it isn’t loud or annoying. It’s also very easy to use, and clean up is just as easy! You just toss the used glue trap & replace with a new one

Perfect for small patio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great insect trap. It has no noise and the size is great. It also looks modern like an accessory. It has been effective for capturing flying insects. We have used it by the pool and in the kitchen. I really love this product.

Great look & effective

what I like about it is that it hides the bugs and it has a timer on it where the other ones don't seem to have that. I can set it on my counter and don't have to look at dead bugs stuck to a sticker that part is nice. however as far as price that is no different than the competitors because I looked. it functions mostly the same ,I do think the price is a bit much for what you get as I would say with all of them, but what are you going to do if you want it you got to pay for it. one other note it does have a bit of a longer cord on it then probably most other items do and that was nice as well. can you live without it absolutely, if you want to try to catch a few bugs in your kitchen and you want to hide the looks of the bugs and you want a timer then go for this one it does work to a certain degree, does it catch all the bugs well no ,what does? but it looks sort of cool!

I feel like it didn't attract as many fruit flies as I would have wanted flies literally flew near it and that's  the the main purpose I got it for.  But I am willing to give it a try as it did catch quite a few just saying that the power might not be as strong as it is advertised to be.

I loved it until it became unresponsive after five days later and yes I charged it an left ut on the charger, nothing... so I’m going back to get my refund or an exchange
