[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delicious! my suggestion is to not follow the instructions on the back because they're too complicated and unnecessary. I grabbed two 8 oz chicken breast and put them in a crock pot and dumped two of the sauce packets on top and let it cook until the meat was at internal temperature and it turned out delicious.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, these are a lifesaver when you're starving and exhausted; the Dal Makhani is surprisingly creamy and actually tastes like it's been simmering for hours.

It's hard to beat a hot, filling meal that's ready in 90 seconds, and unlike a lot of instant food, the lentils don't just turn into mush.

If you're a fan of Indian flavors, keeping these in your desk or pantry is great for those days when you don't have time to cook.

I eat these as they are or will add chicken to them for added protein and for a complete meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Meal Delight provided me with this variety pack for review. I'm not expert in Indian dishes but I have enjoyed quite a few over the years. These meat free selections are definitely mild and there is as much 'tang' from the spice mixes as there is heat.  I tried each one on a bed of white rice which always cuts the spice level anyways. My favorite is the Chana Masala full of perfectly cooked and textured chickpeas with tomatoes and spices.  The Dal Makhani with lentil and kidney beans in a tomato base is very satisfying. The Dal Tadka has yellow lentils in a smooth seasoned tomato sauce.  Onion is used in these recipes but it is cooked down.  Sodium levels are acceptable. Diced cooked meats could be added to these sauces if you miss them. There were no hard bits or sand in these dishes and you don't need strong teeth to enjoy these.  The pouches are easy to heat and serve in their gusseted stand up packaging. It is easy to use just half of a pouch, fold over and clip and refrigerate for later. The use by dates were October 2026 for this batch. Pouches are a good food container but not as long of a shelf life as canned foods. The one thing I have an issue with is the mention of 'no GMOs'. There are no GMO versions of the ingredients used in these and all GMO foods are equally safe as, or better than, organic versions so we need to stop the baseless fear mongering labeling started by the organic foods industry. Our farmers deserve respect, not doubt.

Tasty , convenient and mild

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know where to start. It is almost impossible to find these kinds of flavors in most areas, so luckily I grabbed this as soon as I saw it. When people do that, it's a HUGE chance, you're not going to like it. But you have to take the leap.

I only tried the Tiki Masala so far, it smelled unusual, but that's because I am not familiar with these flavors and spices, and the heat level is very important to a lot of people. The heat was in-between, which is great because it can be tweaked. 

I used chicken breast, I think next time I will use boneless thighs, but I had it over jasmine rice, and it was delicious. I wish I had bought Nan, but I will when I make the butter chicken.

Take the leap and try something new.

Quick and simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this Indian curry pack will be delicious for Americans. They're easy to use and include everything but the meat/vegetables/paneer. 

We are Romani and Bene Israel (Jews from India), which I admit is very rare in the US, but it means we make quite a lot of Indian food, and Ive never made these curries with garlic nor onion, and these curries have both. The butter chicken contains 29% onion, which is a lot when typically you don't use any at all. HOWEVER, if you normally use prepared sauces, this tastes fine! It's actually even better than other sauces I've tried in the past, the packaging is BPA free, the sauces are kosher and halal, they're vegan so anyone can use them as a base, and they're gluten free. The korma is cashew-based. 

I do recommend these as an alternative to scratch made curries. They'll go well with basmati, roti, or even naan.

Tasty curry sauce packs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like trying new things. It's fun to learn about stuff that way and occasionally find something really great. I don't eat Indian food, but have eaten some at least once at a restaurant. I mainly eat American and Hispanic cuisine____So here are my initial impressions of the three flavors included in this package. ____ The Butter chicken, this reminds me of a good pasta sauce, with a hint of sweetness. Tastes good.____ The Tikka masala, this reminds me of a can of chef boy rdee ravioli, with a hint of spice. This one is my least favorite. But it's not bad, just not my style, I will be enhancing the flavor profile with some of my own seasonings to give it a boost.____The Korma, doesn't remind me of anything, tastes more exotic, it's got a good sweetness to it. Not sure how to describe this one. It tastes good and I will be using all three in my beef and black bean meals.____I think these can be great base starters, and with a few added seasonings and/or other items you can really enhance the flavor profile. So while not my style of flavor, yet they all have potential. And I am looking forward to using these in my normal meals.
