The flavor of this tea is like drinking fresh picked blueberries. It’s naturally sweet. I appreciate that is a true flavor not an artificial flavor. This tea brews in 4-6 minutes, I like to leave it a bit longer for a stronger flavor . I like this either ice or hot .

Delicious caffein-free herbal blend of spices! Lovely aroma and nice, zen effect. The packaging is easy to open and I love that there is no plastic, so it’s environmentally friendly. I steep for about 3 minutes which is the perfect strength. I drink this tea almost every day!

Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice Herbal Tea comes in a 20-count box of individually wrapped tea bags and is easy to prepare. I steep one bag in freshly boiled water for about 5–7 minutes. The longer steep really helps the spices bloom without turning bitter, and it holds up well if you forget it for a minute or two.

The flavor leans warm and aromatic, built around cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and clove. There’s a natural sweetness from the spices themselves, so it doesn’t need sugar unless you want it. The taste is smooth and comforting, with a gentle spice that never overwhelms the palate. Nothing sharp or aggressive jumps out; instead, everything feels balanced and approachable.

In terms of stability, the tea is consistent from cup to cup. Each bag delivers the same flavor profile and strength, and it doesn’t lose character as it cools. It also works well plain or with a splash of milk or a milk alternative, which gives it a slightly creamier, chai-adjacent feel.

Celestial Seasonings has the most incredible herbal, caffeine free teas I've tasted.  One of my favorites is BENGAL SPICE. This is a delicious, almost magical tea brimming with cinnamon, ginger, roasted chicory, nutmeg, cardamon, and cloves. The flavor just bursts, you can serve it cold or hot. The price is low for the quality of this extraordinary tea. Additionally, this company uses no artificial colors or flavors. 
This is a delightful Tea. I highly recommend this product and the Company.

Bengal Spice Tea ~ Incredible

This tea tastes good. It has hints of cinnamon and a spice blend that leaves no aftertaste. No sugar or caffeine added. I have this in the morning and/or in the evening. I add some vanilla creamer and enjoy this hot. A great healthy substitute for coffee.

Tastes Amazing

Tension Tamer is a nice herbal option I reach for during the day when I want something soothing but not quite as sleep inducing as Sleepytime. I like to brew it on the weaker side, which makes it light and easy to sip while working. The flavor is herbal and slightly minty, with a soft lemony note. I think it’s calming without being heavy. A great daytime herbal tea!

I started using this after trying it at a friend's house. I used to regularly buy the decaf Tazo chai concentrate, but it's gotten so expensive. I swapped it for this, and the flavor is different, but i love that this is naturally caffeine free. The price is right, and I like that Celestial Seasonings is made in Colorado. My only critique is if you over brew it, it can get a bit funky. I drink mine with almond milk heated up or iced.

Bengal Spice is my go-to when I want something cozy but a little bolder. It’s an herbal tea, but full-bodied in a way that feels really satisfying. The flavor is heavy on the cinnamon, with layers of cardamom and clove that make it taste like fall in a cup. The aroma is warm and spicy, and I love keeping it stocked through the colder months- it’s one of those blends that makes the whole kitchen smell inviting. If you brew it long enough, it even takes on a sweet flavor.

I’m very disappointed in the change to this tea.  It is nothing like the original Bengal and I can’t believe CS is trying to pass it off as the same tea.  From a very sad customer in Canada.  Here’s my last box I’m using up from the old stock
