This coffee is second to none. It's like coming home. It's always in my cupboard. Lovely and dark, it's my favourite dark roast from Kicking Horse. I love the whole beans so I can grind them fresh. LOVE getting it on sale.

Excellent dark roast coffee bean. This is the only coffee that I buy.

Kicking Horse coffee

Kicking Horse makes the best coffee. Walmart doesn't carry my preferred blend (454 Horsepower) in whole beans, but this blend is a good alternative and the price is very reasonable. Tastes just like you'd expect coffee to taste, which is surprisingly hard to find. It's funny that Walmart won't let me use "profanity" when I type the name of this product (which you can read above on this very page).

The best coffee

Kicking horse coffee is a little pricier than some of the options, but it is absolutely worth it! We also started grinding our own coffee in the last couple of years and it makes such a difference. The aroma of fresh ground beans add to the experience, and kicking horse always has a great smell.

Worth it for coffee lovers

I do love this coffee. I prefer Grizzly Claw but the local store doesn't have whole bean version of it. I like my coffee very strong, sweetened, and with cream and this works nicely for a strong cup. Good flavour, although I do prefer the chocolate notes of Grizzly Claw.
