Very convenient since there are no seeds to deal with. Used it for chutneys and curries, and the flavor was rich and tangy. Saved a lot of prep time.

Bought this since I couldn't find the one I usually buy at the competitor's market (which is also lower priced) and it was a bad mistake.  As others have commented, product was full of seeds and my package even contained a large twig in there--very minimal tamarind pulp after pouring hot water on it to remove waste material.  Truly Disappointing.
