I liked the big chocolate taste, however the cakes are dry.  I expected this little log cake to be like their large yule cakes, but it's not.  The cake is covered with icing and is very rich tasting; but they don't make those anymore, so I thought this might be a good substitute, but it's a product that stands on it's own.
If they had a little more icing, they may not be so dry.
They might be a good treat with a hot cup of tea.
