It tastes really good. The meat is excellent and there is plenty of gravy to use on your potatoes - enough for two people

Excellent meal with this beef.

Forget about cooking a beef roast in the oven.  Grab a Lou's shaved beef, boil it for 7 minutes, and voila, instant tender beef slices drenched in a tasty beef gravy.

This is very good on buns and very tender

Lou's Philly steak

This is not anywhere near a philly steak. It comes in a plastic pouch smothered with a highly seasoned gravy. It's nothing like the picture. But if you like strips of beef in a gravy it may go well with fries.

I was expecting packaged steak without any kind of sauce. The sauce that it was packaged in was excessively salty. It was very tender I'll give it that, but for the purpose of putting it into a wrap with other vegetables, I don't really recommend it.

Too much salt.

I bought this from the freezer section at my local Walmart (Port Perry, ON), took it home and put it directly in my own freezer. 10 mins or so later I decided instead to make it for dinner. When I opened the box I found the contents in a plastic bag were completely thawed! I was glad I'd chosen to have it for dinner immediately since it had obviously not been frozen. Unfortunately I was very short sighted. I should have just returned it because it gave me some stomach cramps and gas for several hours after eating it.

Beware of contents you can't see

Not for me. I was disappointed by the taste.

Personally, I didn't enjoy it, so I won't be buying it again.
