This primer does give a smooth, under finish.  When foundation used, produces an improved complexion. Could be used alone.  Select complimenting shade for your skin tone. Product is expensive and seller gave proper attention to packing to ensure damage-free arrival. At their price, ceck to see item is returnable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love, love, love this product! The Revlon Photoready Brightening Primer left my skin looking bright, hydrated and refreshed (like I'd gotten a full night's sleep AND spent a week at a spa).  It gave my face a glow - and even when I applied my foundation I could still see the benefits from the primer.  The primer was easy to apply, both with fingers and a blending sponge, and left my skin even-toned as well as bright. 
I also found that I could use the primer as a spot highlighter (applying it to my cheeks, brows and cupids bow) to give myself extra glow.  It's a very high-quality product that leaves you with flawless, bright, beautiful skin.

I have Melasma. I've tried dozens of Color correcting primers etc and none work. Concealers end up looking cakey when I use enough to try and hide the dark spots and I don't really like to wear a lot of makeup. I tried this photo ready Color correcting pen for dark spots and it actually works. I put it on with no other make up whatsoever and it makes them way less visible. It doesn't neutralize them completely but it's the best I've seen in a product. It looks natural and blends with my skin so I require no make up to even it out. I just dab some of my worst spots and tap them a little to blend then go about my day. I have only tried it without the use of makeup so I have no idea how it works under or over makeup. This is just the correcting pen by itself. Attached is a photo of my cheek with and without the correcting pen.

I love the precision of the brush tip, especially cause I'm so key about that and the formula uses medium buildable coverage. That's great for neutralizing things like redness, doughnut, or dark spots which I struggle with especially in my under eye and the lightweight blend and works well under make up beautifully.

I like this because it is just one step away from going bare-face! Not much of a matte finish and doesn’t minimize pores, but I still like it. I’ll not buy this again but will use it up and later invest in the only product that actually reduces pores, smoothes out tone and is matte-Smashbox Photo Finish.

Very light texture

I was really excited to try this. I saw many great reviews. however,  it did not work on my skin. I used a small amount and it left my face so dry and my foundation did not want to blend. I had to remove it all and start over. I think I'll stick with my elf poreless primer.
