Floor Lamp

OK this isn't your typical usage. But I have these set up in my spare bedroom. I bought my first lamp two years ago. I recently decided to add a second one and I'm so happy the exact model was still available! Yeah, not the most glamorous looking. But here's the thing: It's so cheap that you're not afraid to customize it. It's been sturdy enough you can paint it, you can do whatever you want.  It does its purpose on the cheap.  Oh, and yeah, I can even make my spare room look magical for my guests.  I only wish I could buy the globe separately because that way I could just keep my globes decorated year-round and just select the different globes as needed.  But I love the fact that I can take the globes off and apply custom window film stickers that match my other decor such as in this case my blankets. They are very easy to work with that way. No, these aren't official things you can do with the lamp but whatever.  

Here's an idea Walmart! Sell the globes separately and make it an official feature including custom seasonal cling on stickers.

Sometimes cheaper is better!

I like the Mainstay brand. Dependable value for a reasonable price. 
PROS:

CONS:
Wish the light weren't so yellow(the shades) The cord could be longer
But all in all, those "cons" are pretty small. It's nice.

Good Lamp

It's very good considering its price. The only cons I find is that it says you can only use a light bulb of maximum 33 watt CFL, which makes me suspicious, what type of cords they have used, that makes it so not resistant to higher wattage. Also the color is not really silver, but it's very dark metallic gray. But as I said compared to its price it is nice and well working, and gives out enough light compared to a lot of other lamps that eat away the light from the light bulb.

Good considering the price.

Considering I bought this identical lamp at Rona 2 years ago for $169 (!! and the switch recently broke), I am pleased to get it again for less than 1/4 the price and it all works well.

Surprised and pleased

I just moved into my apartment and can't afford a decorative one right now. this one works for what I need and the price is Great if you can't afford or don't care if a decorative lamp.

Doesn't last long , recommend for color variety but the mechanism and ability stand straight on it own wears off after a few weeks this is my 3 one in 2 years

I am disappointed with these lights I really wanted them to work out.
There are too many pieces for the thin pole and they do not stay tightened.  Light does not stand straight it leans one way or the other.

The only good thing about this lamp is that it turns on. I bought two, and one of them has a pole that after you assemble you can never take it apart again because the screw on mechanism on the inside gets stuck.The other one I got has cracked plastic everywhere because of course it's made of thin cheap plastic. The bottom base looks like one piece but is actually just another plastic shell covering the weight at the bottom which is flimsy at best. If you never touch them again after installing then I guess they're fine.

Kind of awful but at least the light turns on

The rim of the plastic shade is uneven. The pole segments are much thinner metal relative to the same product a few years ago. Cheapification. The result is a flimsy pole that barely stands up straight. It is easy to bend during assembly. They also changed the weighted base so that the center of gravity is higher, causing it to wobble when you walk past. Also, a silver color would have been a better option than grey.

Will not buy again
