The creamy texture of this margarine with olive oil is easy to spread on crackers, bread and sandwiches, and combine with pasta and roasted vegetables. It's also a source of omega-3 polyunsaturates, the essential fatty acid found in sardines, flaxseed, and chia seeds. This butter substitute stays soft and spreadable stored in the refrigerator. The Ingredient Wise symbol appears on products made without these ingredients: synthetic colours, artificial flavours and sweeteners, hydrogenated vegetable oil, monosodium glutamate. As per Canadian regulations, this product cannot contain some of these ingredients.

I was pleased surprised when my wife came home with this product and it tasted just as good as the national brand. With cost of butter being almost $10 for the national brand, saving $3 or $4 dollars
helps a lot especially when you don't notice a taste difference

I have been buying this brand of margarine since discovering it a few years ago, I always bought a National brand but saw this one while shopping at Walmart. It is as good as the national brand, but I like the idea that it is cheaper. With the rising cost of groceries, this is always a plus, especially when you don't have to swap quality for price

Review of Great Value Margarine with Olive Oil

This margarine comes in a container/lid combo for easy storage and use. The margarine is always soft, no need to bring it to room temp or melt it a bit for ease of use. It's always soft so no ripping bread at any point of putting it on. It spreads easily and is very convenient in the cold months. The flavour is good, pretty much tastes like original margarine but without a very buttery flavour. We freeze some as well so we always have some on hand. It thaws perfectly and you can't notice the different from a previously frozen to fresh margarine. This margarine is good to have on hand at all times if you want easy, spreadable margarine to use.

Soft margarine

I recently bought this product and it was the first time I used it I like the fact that it was a healthier option, but the taste was not compromised. I would purchase this product again as the quantity was perfect for the price

Great taste

Very good spread. Easily spreadable .With the right amount of olive oil. Great taste and value for money. Taste good by itself on a nice slice of bread.

Smooth And Creamy Spread.

Great value margarine with olive oil has a nice flavour, spreads well and is healthy with no trans fats.  It's even cheaper than most other brands and easy to find in store

Great margarine

I bought this item to try since the cost of Becel, as everything has risen so much and this product was 1/2 the price of Becel. We have to save when and where we can so that we can save for the future and enjoy life. I think it's a good alternative and tastes as good as some of the other brand names out there.

I bought this to see if it was comparable to name-brand, and it was a pretty good facsimile. I find most margarine has too much water in the recipe and make for soggy toast, except for one brand, and the Great Value is pretty close, so definitely a Good Value!

Almost Just As Good

I guess I'm not a fan of margarine or it's this brand. I don't like the smell or flavour at all.  The price is lower than others but it could be because the product is not as good as others.

Great Value Margarine

This was the first time trying this olive margarine and it is just way too soft to use it's almost liquid. At first I thought it may have been warm from being out of the fridge but even after being placed in the fridge to use the next morning it was very soft and melty. It soaked into toast and bread when making a sandwich. I won't be buying this again.
