I bought this as my usual brand was not available. I do not regret buying this brand as it tasted even better than I had anticipated. Buying this brand henceforth. Glad I decided to try it.

Taste and texture

I was using different brand of lentils earlier and that brand was not available at Walmart so I decided to try this brand for our Mexican bowl. It is cheap and taste same as previous brand.

Tried Once And Now Its Our Must Have Storage

I am always buying Sitara whole red lentils and am very impressed with the quality, lentils are clean and uniform in size and has a fresh earthly aroma. Packing is good. I made sambar and dal palak with this lentil.

Product is good and price is good

I like this red lentils: it's clean- doesn't have any dirt prices inside the pack, cooks quick, cooks good in any way and don't loose it form in any kind of dish.

Delicious!

Good Value plant based protein. Great for Dhal or soups. Nice vibrant colour. Blend well when cooked, can be added to many foods for extra fiber and protein

Good Value Protien

These red lentils are more unique than the more commonly found split red lentils because they're whole. It just seems even better because it's one less process they went through. That said, you may need to adjust you recipes accordingly as it can take just a bit more time prepare and cook them. But the flavour and texture pay off will be worth it and different.

They're whole not split

I buy dry lentils to add protein to household favourite dishes and cut down meat (due to high meat prices) and my family has no clue! Be it Sitara brand or any other, I can make lentils disappear in my recipes. So yes, they are good, but I can't comment on flavour or texture compared to other brands.

Same as the rest

Amazing red lentils, the bag lasts a while, but is not overly large, quality is always good, great for all sorts of dishes. I always have a bag of these on hand. Would totally recommend!
