This batch was great but they can be hit and miss, but they aren't that expensive.  I eat them straight outta the container for a sweet snack  mostly.  I have made energy date bars with them as well, dates softened in some water then process in a blender or similar till smoother a couple of cups of oatmeal, honey, roasted Almond slivers, some coconut and currants in a loaf pan baked at 350 for 20mins then oven roast for another 10 and cool then cut into bars and I wrap them in cello and put them in the fridge for a quick snack, yummy the oatmeal slightly toasted is great! Only about 30mins to make... Last batch I bought in Dec were dried out tho this time they were fresh!

The dates are of moderate quality, but it serves the purpose under consideration the price point. Neither too dry nor too moist, can certainly  be used for various consumption preferences.

Definitely not the sweet moist date, I will keep these for cakes. Not for snacking I was hoping them to be.

Wrong purchase

I buy this every week at another grocer but something was off about this purchase at Walmart. It had an awkward chemical smell and when I ate one it and tasted very funny. I returned it immediately and got a refund. It could've just been a one off.

Not as expected

The dates are stale, dry and smell of soap. I can't seem to understand how Walmart could even ship out such a product out to the customers. 

This is from my last (Feb  18th) Order. I need them to be returned and either given a make-good or a re-imbursement. The box is intact and with me and can be re-collected to check my feedback.

Stale, smelling Parnoosh Dates

Order two units, as of April 3rd week 2026, all dates within each unit had a plastic taste. Tried to each with nuts or within morning oats. The plastic after taste is still noticeable.

I usually buy these dates from a different store because they are amazing. However when I purchased them from Walmart they were all black and tasted old and dare I say on the verge of mouldy. I feel like it has something to do with temperature and how they were stored. They tasted awful.. won't be buying them from Walmart again

I was very disappointed when I bit into the first date.  It was a horrible taste.  I brought the container up to my nose and it smelled off.  I checked the expiration date and the item hadn't expired.  I have purchased this item in the past and it tasted great.

Already Spoiled When Received

This product is not good. Each time i bought this it wasn't good quality. I can to compare this product with the other stores. Your product looks like spent a lot of time at the storage and now it is so old and not delicious.

Feedback about Parnoosh pitted dates

I've bought this brand from other stores before, but these were awful. Despite the fact that the best before date is months away, these were off. They went right into the trash.
