I picked based on the picture and was expecting vanilla buttercream icing. I was surprised to get chocolate. We hate chocolate. I've attached a picture of the item as advertised.

Betty Crocker Chocolate Frosting has been my go-to frosting for decades; however, the last tub I bought was super runny. I couldn't even frost the cupcakes I made without the frosting running off. And, the cupcakes were cooked down to room temperature when I frosted them. Could this be a bad batch? Have others had this problem?

I've used Betty Crocker frosting for decades but something has changed. The frosting looked different, very shiny, and it was runny. It doesn't really stay on the sides of the cake and almost slides off.  The cake looks ugly and messy. I had the same problem with the frosting I bought in September. 'Easier to spread' is apparently code for super runny.  Tried to use for a layer cake and the icing between layers oozed out the sides.  Had to add quite a bit of powdered sugar to make it thick enough to stick to the sides and not just slide off the top.  Not a pretty cake.  The changes are definitely not an improvement.
