I have been using this product for at least 8 years now as an alternative to ground beef for things such as tacos, nachos, and crunch wraps. I am a vegetarian but I have introduced friends and family who are meat-eaters to this product and they also enjoy it. It has a lot of flavour and can be used for many different meals.

The Yves Mexican Veggie Ground Round is the best vegan alternative for making Mexican dishes.  Cooks up very quickly and has a great flavor and texture. Use in tacos, taco salads, quesadillas, enchiladas and more!

Best vegan alternative for Mexican dishes

I like the taste of this veggie ground. I don't like most meat substitutes but this one is good. I would buy this product again. It has a nice flavour.

Great Plant Based Product

Great alternative to ground beef. Good flavor, and resembles the taste of beef. No one will know its plant based. Great for tacos. Or for making chilli.

Excellent Alternative

Loves Yves line of products!! As a vegetarian there products are amazing. I use this one for tacos, burritos and to put on my salad or a vegetarian shepherds pie.

I literally cooked up a package of the original ground round last night to make vegan taco bake. This is such a great product, love having italian and mexican flavoured options! Easy to use and better for animals!

Used For YEARS

As a vegetarian, I always have a package of Yves Mexican Veggie Ground Round in the freezer, so I can pull it out when I have a craving for tacos, burritos, and burrito bowls. The texture is a  perfect substitute, but the flavour is a bit strong for me.

Perfect for tacos and burritos

Purchased this to make tacos at home, I usually get plain ground and add my own taco seasoning but could only find the pre seasoned ground, the seasoning was a little salty and not as fresh tasting as it would have been if I had seasoned it myself.

Great for making tacos but too salty

This was the first time trying plant based product that resembles ground meat.  We do eat meat in our household but needed to eat veggie so tried out this product. It's ok once in awhile , but tastes better when other vegetables are added to the plant based ground product.

Yves Mexican veggie ground

I used to think this product was good but I much prefer Cauli Crumbles now.  Unfortunately, Yves is much easier to find.  I'll buy it in a pick but it's not the best tasting.
