I love workibg with velvet, although i typically double strand it, but these colors are so vibrant i didnt know yarn came in such beautiful colors. My only regret is not getting more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bernat Velvet yarn is my all-time favorite yarn for Amigurumi projects. I love working with it! The stuffies turn out perfect, all the sewing disappears into the project, leaving a beautiful completed stuffy. I hope they continue to make it and expand the color options!

All-time Favorite!

I bought this yarn, probably over a year ago as a beginner. Initially, I found it difficult to work with because it's hard to see the stitches, and having said that I would not recommend this yarn for a beginner. However, the velvet is softer than anything else I've found as far as yarn goes. A year later and having improved, I now have no problem finding my stitches. The yarn is beautiful and worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using all of the colors of Bernat velvet and crushed velvet to make hats, shawls, wristers, infinity scarves, large blankets, throw blankets and various other creations for loved ones and to sell at a local store. There has not been one person who doesn't absolutely love the feeling and warmth this yarn provides. If it is ever discontinued, I would be heart broken along with anyone who has received or purchased the items I make it.

So soft and easy to work with!

Exactly what I expected, velvet texture, beautiful hue.

The color was not accurate on line. The pink looked soft and light, but in person it was darker and kindof a muddy color. It is soft to the touch, but color was pretty bad

Color not accurate

Color was not as pictured. The yarn had proper color name, but was a muddy darker color. We had to use it anyway. Disappointing .

It was definitely soft but IN NO WAY should it have been called a “bulky” yarn. It wasn't what I needed so I returned my order promptly and am waiting for my refund.
