I've had consistent rave reviews wherever I bring this cake. It's the right size for 6-8 servings after dinner and you cannot beat the price. It's moist, dark chocoatey and it looks great too. Buy it!

Super cake for the money!

Got eggless variety of this cake. It tastes really great. One of the great eggless cakes ever had at such a low price. Eggless cakes usually need to be ordered ahead of time and are more priced than regular ones and this was ready to eat and easily priced with great taste.

Not your typical black forest cake.

Love French Oven cakes! They are decadent and good value for money!

Good Value and tasted great.....

the first time i tried this cake there was no discernible amount of filling. the second time, the filling was not a lot but still enough and if i were rating this second cake alone i would give it 5 stars. the icing tastes great, the cake is good but needs the cherry filling to really take it to the next level. 3 stars for quality control, you can't tell how much filling is in the cake until you slice into it.

i've tried this cake twice

I have purchased this cake several times in the past few months but there is inconsistency in the cherry filling between the two layers of cake. 
I will continue buying the cake cause it is moist and taste really good.

Product Incomplete

The actual product tastes okay, but this is not black forest cake, or at least not what I picture it to be.  There is almost no cherry filling.  There's enough that you can barely see if you you look very closely, and it's almost as if it a small amount is just mixed into the batter.  Did the manufactuer mess up and forget the ingredient or is it them trying to minimize the cost to make it?  Because of this, you can't even taste it taste the filling.  This cake is nothing more than plain chocolate cake with a cherry on top.  I might still buy it again now knowing what to expect because it's relatively inexpensive, but the product is mediocre at best and doesn't even taste like black forest.

This is not black forest cake

This has to be the worse cake I've ever eaten. Have you read the ingredients? This so called cake should be illegal let alone unhealthy! How long do you want this cake to last for with these ingredients? Go make a more natural cake instead of feeding us with this garbage! Stay away!

Pure Garbage

I bought Black Forest Cake, 1/4 slab, from Fresco store! B-day cake! Few days ago! To my disappointment, cake was too dry, too dark in color, tasted bitter(sponge cake), not enough feeling in between! Just waste of money!  Until now, never bought worse cake! What happened to good quality cakes?!
