Ok so many people complain it's too sweet, but not me! I don't like buttercream or cream cheese frostings, so this is perfect for me (husband likes it, too). I have to have at least one of these in our kitchen every Christmastime. Or two. LOL

This is my boyfriend's favourite Christmas cake. He can't get enough. Every year when the time approaches and they're back in stock, we probably buy like 10 of them - not even exaggerating!

This is very nostalgic to me, as we had it every Christmas when I was a child. It's moist, and delicious. My favourite pieces are the ends, because of all the icing! I'd highly recommend these to anyone. It's a lovely cake as well.

Lovely & delicious Christmas treat.

Vachon Festive log is a family tradition, been eating them my whole life.  Buy one as soon as they come out. Unfortunately the price is not extremely high so  we only buy one when they come out and one for Christmas.  It is a love rolled cake with sweet vanilla frosting covered in a chocolate frosting.  It is great cake.

These Christmas Vachon festive logs cakes are great. They have been our family's Christmas dessert for years but we couldn't find them the last few years. We were so excited to see them back again so we stocked up our freezers.

We love the Christmas Vachon Festive Log Cake.

The entire family enjoys these so much.  I always buy extra Vachon Festive Logs and freeze them, so I have some on hand whenever we get a craving.

Not great

I did NOT expect fresh bakery quality or anything. I bought it because I generally love Vachon products. I expected this to be on the same level as those. None of the tastes or textures are close to anything I've had from Vachon before. That said, a friend of mine said he has had it and he likes it. I cut two slices...they weren't even fully eaten and the rest is destined for the bin.

Really not worth it.
