I order these little cakes, cut in thirds and freeze 2/3. I have been buying them for some time and the flavors of each variety are good. Unfortunately, the cake and frosting don't  hold together right from the first cut. When cutting a slice, the side frosting falls off immediately and the cake crumbles as you try to put it on a plate. I have found this happens when the cake is at room temp or cooled or even frozen. These cakes cannot be served like you would any other cake. The cake ingredients need a better binder, and the frosting needs more thickening.

Good Cake - Bad Assembly

Half decent size for price, actual cake is light and tasty, lemon curd is in short supply and is not zesty and the actual icing is much to sweet and fluffy.  A disappointing cake and I will not buy again.

Lemon curd cake

The taste for me just why wasn't 100% they didn't overly taste like really tangy lemon. It was more of a super sweet lemon.

Not so lemony

Indie of cake was nice , but the insteed of buttercream there was icing sugar cream coated on the cake which was too sweet. Made the cake taste horrible. Giving it grainy and tough trxture intead use smooth whipped cream next time.

It had a bad smell even before the expiry date

Don't even think about trying it. I throw it out after first bit
