great depending on the recipe - I use this in taco filling, or tomato sauce and its great.  It shouldn't be the central star of your recipe, but if you put it in a strong flavored sauce, it has good texture & a pleasant flavor

I have been using this substitute meat product for a few years now, it's perfect for chilies, spaghetti sauce, tacos and shepherds pie. This is one of the  few things I can serve to my non vegetarian friends without any hesitation, just add some seasonings and everyone enjoys it!

I simply love it!

Good meat substitute in recipes. Not the best tasting on its own but tastes great once seasoned. I use it in tacos, pasta sauce, Sheppard's pie, and lasagna.

This a great product. We use it as a substitute for meat in chili, enchiladas, moussaka, etc.
Reasonably priced and low fat, yet a good source of protein

Excellent meat substitute for things like tacos, nacho platters, shepherds pie, meat sauce, soups, stews, etc. I find it doesn't hold up well as meatballs as it tends to crumble but aside from that, this is my main ground beef substitute.

I think it's a great product. The only thing is that you need to keep in mind that it won't have any fat so you'll need to add more oil if needed in your preparation

Taste is fine. Price has increased so much in the last year. I did pay about $11, now it's $16. The other thing is they shrunk the packs. You are getting about 3/4 what you used to get. Basically,  wuth price and quantity.  The price has doubled.
