The shirts are nice but I ordered 100% cotton t-shirts and I got 60% cotton and 40% polyester. I'm a lineman and my apparel has to be 100% cotton.

100% cotton

Hanes

Scratchy and not soft as I would expect. Shirt feels to be made from less than 100% cotton and it feels stiff. I cannot put my finger exactly on what is different from other shirts I have. Shirts for me had to definitely be washed prior to wearing. I tried one without washing and I had a small reaction under my arms. I washed them all but just not sure. The colors are great, I got almost all the colors. Bright and vibrant, just unsure if it is the dye or material that is/was irritating.

Unhappy

Very disappointed in these shirts. They say they are "preshrunk" but all of mine shrunk a whole size, including losing a good 3 inches on length. On the plus side...the fabric is a sturdy cotton and the colors are nice and bright. Make sure to buy a size larger if you want them to fit after washing.

"Preshrunk" still shrunk!

First, the quality of these shirts is amazing for the price, actually, it's amazing period. The issue I have is that they aren't sized right. I'm a big guy, I bought "big and tall". The issue is that they are both "big" and "tall" not either or. I was hoping this issue would not be so glaring when I got them but unfortunately it is. Hey Hanes, this may be news to you, but not all "tall" guys are fat, and not all "fat" guys are tall. This is why other brands have XLB and XLT sizes. In case you don't understand that "extra large big" and "extra large tall".

Hanes needs to rethink their big and tall sizes.

I had some Hanes tees from many years ago that were a soft, comfortable fabric andheld up well over time. They dont make them like that anymore. The fabric was very rough cotton and it did not soften with washing. It felt just awful against my skin. The finishing was poor. And the shirts shrank with the first washing. The sizing was already running a bit small. Basically in comparison to the past quality, these were awful. Would rather them be more expensive and made like before.

Rough fabric, poor finishing, do not buy!

Disappointed.
For a 100% cotton shirt this sure is stiff and scratchy. The crew neck also puckers where it's sewn into the shirt. This after just one wash. I haven't even worn the shirt. Not sure I'm going to. Plus ordering direct from Hanes wasn't any better than a retailer. In fact after getting my order confirmed, and then waiting for delivery I was told one item wasn't available. Why then was I allowed to order it? Weird.

Disappointed

These shirts are terrible. I expected them to be soft and well tailored like the regular tables t-shirts that I buy in packages of 6 and 12 but they are not the same. these shirts are cut differently so they fit like a cardboard box. The cotton is a very low grade cotton that is very coarse and scratchy. the cut is very boxy. They were supposed to be tagless but came with big tags. These are awful shirts, and are nothing like the soft tagless white shirts in the multi packs. I would give these zero stars if that were an option. Don't waste your money on these.

Horrible scratchy, boxy shirts

You changed manufactures again. Made in other country than before. Unsatisfactory. Will not be purchasing again. Lost 20 year customer and family.

Manufacture changed!

I wore this shirt 1 time and the color already faded .Let me repeat that. I wore this shirt 1 time and the color has faded. No more for me the quality has also seem to faded

Sad sad sad.
