This food is perfectly adequate and my kittens seem to enjoy it, especially mixed with wet food. I would be happier if the product was not as hard, as my kittens are still getting their teeth and I have to soak it before giving it to them. Overall good, though!

I am so glad I started off with purchasing this kitten food. My kitten (now cat) Mysty has a long coat of fur and even though she is now one years old, she still has the same healthy coat of fur and same hungry desire for her food. She thinks she is getting a treat every time she is fed. Mysty has always loved the kitten chow and now loves the complete chow. I definitely recommend this amazing cat food to anyone.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This was by far my top choice to give my cat back when he was a kitten. It was one of the few dry foods that he would eat the whole bowl. I would recommend this for anyone with a particularly picky kitten.

Kitten chow is the only food I feed my cats, it's great for our kitten, awesome for our 3 year old picky eater who only ate treats for a whole year and amazing for our senior who has a hard time chewing other harder adult kibble food. Our Vet said there was absolutely nothing wrong keeping the cats on kitten food so we will stick with kitten chow which all our cats Love

Ive had a hard time finding a good kitten food. I only trust purina because they are one of the only brands of food that is aafco TESTED not formulated and this is important. It is a great food for a good value. I wish the kitten proplan was less expensive though for now I will stick with kitten chow for my babies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two cats that are almost one year old. I am about to switch them from the kitten food to the cat chow. I feed them a portion of the dry food once a day and they love it! Although it does not keep them full for long because of the by-product meal and corn gluten ingredients. I do like that the product is full of protein instead of carbs, though. Good product for the value!

i have brought all my kittens (now cats) up on this food....and they did great! very very palatable and small enough for little teeth to chew. they eat it until they are at least 1 yr old and then mixed with Purina Cat Chow. if weight is an issue, i will then go to Purina Indoor....they all love the taste of all these. i do have an issue tho....sometimes the Kitten Chow is hard to find near me....the stores don't carry it.....and if they do, when its gone, it takes forever for them to restock it. whats with that? i also wish it came in a 20# bag....or at least a 10# bag. it would last longer between trips to the store.

We've had a few kittens roaming the house in the past year or so, and we have purchased this brand every time with excellent results! Our baby cats love it, and it's reasonably priced. Will certainly buy again if we ever have any more little ones running around!

my kitten loves this food and looks forward to it he meows to me as soon as he sees it and runs towards the food dish.... he has gotten so big and healthy I first started with just the store brand and then switched to Purina and he seems to be getting healthier and gaining healthy weight thank you for this brand I had a hard time finding specifically kitten food

I have trusted purina products since my first pet as a child. After rescuing two kittens I set out to find an affordable, quality kitten food that was available in my very rural area. Purina Cat/Kitten Chow was the clear winner! It is affordable, and AAFCO approved and all of the retailers in my area carry it in stock. Fortunately my kittens will eat anything after living on scraps before they were rescued so I didn't have any problem introducing this food to them.
