I live on a farm with several outside cats (male & female). Of course, from time to time, a litter of kittens arrive. When the mothers start to wean them, that's when I break out the Kitten Chow. The smaller pieces are easier for the young ones to chew, and I know they're getting the nutrition that they need. Plus, they love it! Only problem is, eventually, I have to wean them off of the kitten chow, and start them on the cat chow. They don't seem to mind, cause they love the cat chow too. Farm cats are excellent hunters, but I always feed them kitten chow/cat chow, so I know they are getting the nutrition they need.

The kittens love the taste compared to others and the older cats try and steal theirs constantly. I love that the first ingredient is a meat, so many don't make this a priority. I don't like that there is so much corn and soy used as their protein source. I would not be so torn on how I feel about this product if they had a bit more protein from healthier alternatives.

When I first got my kitten, I was apprehensive when deciding what brand of food I was going to feed her. I eventually chose Purina Kitten Chow, and I haven't looked back. My kitten loves it! She likes it better than wet cat food. Pricing is reasonable, and will be staying with Purina for her big-kid food.

My kitten, Sephora, absolutely loved purina kitten chow. When I first got her I tried her on whatever my roommate was using for their kitten. She hated it. Smelled it and ran off. So I went and picked up a bag of the kitten chow and she instantly followed me to her dish and ate it as I poured it. It was as if she knew exactly what it was.

When I got my kittens they were skinny yet picky. Needed a food to fatten them up and I tried everything i could think of but they just wouldn't eat anything I bought. Then I tried Purina kitten chow and they loved it!! Still feeding them this food 4 months later and they both have put on healthy weight and still loving the tase!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We rescued a new kitten (Ronin) and the kitten chow came highly recommended at our local pet store. Ronin is very vocal about wanting his food. He loves the flavour and the size of the kibble. We also use the Purnia Kitten Chow as treats for our older cats. Each evening they all join us for treat time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's my number one go to for kittens. I had a lot of feral kittens and cats and it's easiest to feed the kitten chow because of all the extra protein vitamins for these cats and it shows how well they grow up eating Parina kitten chow

As the new owner of two kittens 4 months old I can say I have been very happy with Purina Kitten Chow. My kittens LOVE is, and so does my 8 year old cat. I try not to let my older cat eat it, but he loves it too. The price is reasonable and my kitties are happy. I highly recommend to any kitten owner.

We found little Mandy as a small kitten. She was so small she fit in the palm of my hand. We looked for the mom but never found her. We took her to the vet and have been feeding her Purina Kitten Chow for 14 months now. She was only 4 and a half pounds at a year old. She is so small that the vet said to keep her on Kitten chow since she only has a few teeth and that is the only thing she likes. We give her a fresh bowl of food each morning so she can nibble on it throughout the day. If she finishes her food she will go up to her bag and cry for more. Kitten Chow is a wonderful food for a small cat since she is unable to chew regular size food. It provides her all the nutrients a mother cat would of given her and has made her active and happy.

The Purina Kitten Chow brand is loved by our 8 month old kitten. He thinks every time he passes the container that he should get some! This product has been very affordable for us as a family, too. Where we shop, many of the other brands were not as good quality for the money. Thank you for producing a quality food that keeps our cat happy and healthy!
