My hair was a mess from a number of different professional services. I had brassy highlights and unwanted reddish tones to the unhighlighted areas. I was terrified to try to color my own hair, but I am very happy. All the brassy and red tones are gone and the color is even despite having some areas that were very over processed.

I have naturally dark dark brown hair. I previously had subtle highlights which really grew out bad. I decided to just get rid of them overall. I bought this thinking it would just go over the highlights and not change my natural color too much because its darker than the box. But was I wrong! Yes, it took care of my highlights... by turning them red! And not only that, the roots turned red too, everything R-E-D. Its a pretty color, but I happen to hate red... Pretty confused because I've actually done this before. Not sure if I got the wrong color or what. I like this brand overall, so Im just going to try a darker color and see what happens. I would not recommend this color at all if you are looking for something brown.

I've been coloring my hair since I've been 13 years old. It wasn't until about 2 years ago that I started religiously using Nutrisse. This is the only hair color that does not burn or itch my scalp when I apply it. It definitely is great for sensitive scalps! It feels very natural and smells good. The color comes out great too...such natural coverage and highlights. Not kidding, people are amazed when I tell them I color my hair myself.

I have used this color for two years now and I love it! Most of the time it is sold out and I have to shop around to find it each month. I have a lot of gray hair and it covers perfectly. I continue to get compliments on my hair color and everyone thinks it's color by a professional.

I have been using this colour for years and receive compliments all the time. It is exactly the shade many reviewers state, almost black when first applied with purple visible in the light and then it slowly fades to a lighter purple over time. I am quite gray now and it lasts 4-5 weeks before it is just too light and it's time for a redo. The other versions like BR1 and 2 are far too red and not nearly as dark.

ok so like, i wanted to go darker, but not dramatically because i have really pale skin. i'm a natural blonde and had virgin hair. i used this and, it didn't do anything bad to my hair, no damage or brassy or green tones. but it didn't really color my hair. my hair was kinda a dirty blonde, and now it's just like a dark blonde rather than an ash brown. not mad just wasn't what i was expecting

I absolutely love love love their dark intense red shades for dark hair. I used this color and it made my hair shinier and silkier. My hair felt healthier as well. I highly recommend this product to the moon and back. Whenever I use box dye, I always look for Garnier Nutrisse.

I am a long time user and this new formula change is going to push me to another brand. I used to love this product and while a no drip version sounds good, this formulation has made it impossible to use with the current applicator. It clogs up in the applicator tip. Is difficult to dispense and work through hair, and has not covered as well for me as the old formula. With my last several applications I have had to take the top off of the applicator, put the product in my hands and apply manually (with gloves of course). I won't keep doing this. I guess I will be forced to try other options in the future, as this is just not working.

I have tried so many hair colors out there. All I want in life is a vibrant but not obnoxious orangey-ginger hair color. For some reason no one anywhere has a good ginger. For some reason it seems to be a color that dye companies are incapable of achieving. Its always either not red enough, or way too red. This dye was the one solution I have ever been able to find, and OF COURSE its been discontinued! Omg! Bring it the heck back please!

I just found out that the best red hair color EVER, has been discontinued! I've been using the Rich Auburn Blonde for probably 7 years now, and everywhere I go, I get compliments on. how good it looks! At times when I couldn't find it, and had to try another red, it always came out way, WAY too dark and too brown on me. My natural hair color is medium brown, and this shade turns it gorgeous!! This auburn color is the best ever, as it has a very fiery look to it, and I've never found that with any other hair color. Please reconsider bringing this back! As another reviewer wrote, I've told people the name of the color I use, and the brand, and so many of them may have tried it and loved it also. Very, very disappointing to find this out!!
