[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this dye on my stepsister as an at-Home experiment! It looks pretty good. Definitely not salon good, but it works for a quick color refresher! Her hair is pretty shiny and doesn't look too brassy with the blonde.

The oil part made the smell mild and tolerable. I liked the thick consistency of the cream hair color, it made it less messy to apply, and easier to see what part of my hair was already saturated. My hair was previously colored a light brown, which may have changed the outcome of my hair. It came out way darker than light brown, and I'm hoping it fades in a few washes. I gave it a 4 of 5 stars for this, but didn't expect the color to be exactly the same color on the box. Only issue with the product is that my hair was crazy darker than I thought it would be. My hair is naturally a mousy medium to dark brown color and over the years I have tried so many different hair colors trying to replicate it, especially as I've gotten older and started to get some grey at my temples. Almost every hair color that looks "right" ends up looking jet black or brassy auburn on me, even when the box says cool or ash. This is the color, at last. I like Garnier Nutrisse a lot because it doesn't drip too much, does not seem to dry out or damage my hair, and while it truly does cover my roots it allows a bit more of a natural looking grow out before the next coloring. I am a huge fan.

My hair color was light brown bought #54 medium natural copper well my hair is almost black.i don't even want to go out in public..i am having a party here in 5 days and now have to go have my hair done professionally which is gonna cost me hundreds of dollars to fix.. i am beyond aggravated....

Bought this to darken my blonde hair. It turned my hair a shade which can only be described as swamp-water grayish-green. Horrible. Terrible. I would not wish this outcome on my worst enemy.
