I started with a reddish brown color and wanted to achieve a more red result. I love garnier products and if I am ever self coloring, I will always turn to this brand. Since the regular box I buy was not available, mistakingly I thought this one would get me that result.my hair turned near black with purple under tones. Needless to say, it was my fault for buying a deep burgundy dark cherry color, but its all in trial and error. If you like the dark/ purple tones color this is for you!

i love garnier i have been coloring for years and it took me a while to choose the right colors for my moods never go by what is on the box go by the color matcher on the back and be prepared for 1 - 3 shade difference depending on your hair color at the time of coloring the matcher has helped me to pick the right color i wanted ive even come up with colors i had never seen before and everyone including myself loved them. it just made them mad when they couldnt get that same color cause of their hair color at the time but even they have kept going back to garnier we all love it.. i was originally a blonde over the years ive been all colors of brown, blonde and yes even red.

I was skeptical of dying my hair in the first place since I haven't done it in years! I chose this color thinking I'd have the result that showed in the darkest brown example. My hair is dark but I thought because I have red tones to my hair already this would be perfect. Since my hair is darkest brown I decided to keep the dye in 5 minutes longer as recommended. When I rinsed my hair it looked like I did almost nothing to it! So upset! Money down the drain...literally!

My hair looks beautiful, shiny and healthy. If you use this product as the instructions say you'll get the look. I used 2 boxes cause my hair is thin but a little long. Don't have any product on your hair before coloring it if you want your hair to get the color right. I always use Garnier 💜

I've used nutrisse products for a couple of times already. My hair was medium brown and I wanted to bring it back to its natural black color. So Ive bought this nutrisse blackest black. Unfortunately, it didnt covered my medium brown hair. There are still a lot of brown strands, when in fact it should fully cover whatever color it is, because its black, but it didnt. I would still recommend it though. I will be recoloring my hair with the same product, or maybe the olia. However I jist felt bad since I need to recolor my hair again, and I need to do it just 1 week after though I know it would damage my hair. But I need to, since my prom would be on 13th. And I really want my hair very black.

I am a natural blonde and have used Garnier for years to go darker on whims. Did so today, and low and behold, my hair is blue. It is patchy, where the colour didn't take, and navy blue. I work in a professional environment and am going to have to ruin my hair to get it to a "normal colour". I can't believe that this product is still being sold.

I do love Garnier products but EXACTLY where does Dark CHOCOLATE BROWN say, or show, eggplant or raspberry highlights? I wanted to cover my gray and try to be a softer non-black. I liked the 'average coloring sample' on the back of black to dark brown. But nope, it started turn orange in the bottle & on my head & I kept double checking the box. I am adjusting and it is very noticeable in the sun but compliments, and not wanting to burnout my hair, have made me decide to wear the color out. Guess I'll need to stick the black shades now.

I NEED THIS COLOR! Pleeeeaaaaaase bring it back! I received more complements on my hair when I used this color than I ever did when I was blonde. And now I have been having try the other colors and nothing is even close to it that I have found. I need my color.

I had very dark black hair but i had been using B1-Cool Brown Iced Macchiato for 5+ years and it gave me a beautiful light-dark brown color whch i looooved! But since Iced Macchiato is discontinued, i was recommended this Ash Brown shade which made my hair kind of black again and i dont like it all!! Any recommedation on which shade i should use to get that light/dark brown color back? I miss Iced Macchiato SO much!! Please help!!

very disappointed in this color, I had hesitations when i saw the picture on the front but for reasons unknown went ahead and colored it last night! so now I am googling to try and find ways to fade it as quick as possible because I am afraid to color again!!! will not use again!
