I absolutely love these boots! They were comfortable from the very first time I wore them and didn't need to be broken in at all. I bought them in black and will purchase them in brown in the future. These are such great quality, I anticipate I will own these forever!

I had to get a size 7 instead of my usual 6.5. The extra length was what I needed, but the accompanying extra width was a problem. Even with the boot tightly laced, my foot and instep and ankle were swimming in that excess space. So sorry I had to give up on them, as these boots are beautifully made and in a simple, enduring style.

I bought this boot ten days ago. I found it to be very comfortable right away. I normally wear a size 9 and had to return the first pair for size 8.5. the leather is just how it looks: soft and buttery. I was so impressed I bought a pair for my daughter and one for a friend as a birthday gift. They go perfectly with both skirts and jeans.

I just received my third pair of Veronica combat boots and as usual I'm very happy with them, I bought the dark brown and I love this color. It's truly dark brown and perfect. Leather is very nice and smooth. I wear 7.5 but in all my Frye boots I have had to go up a half size. For me there was no break in time. Cant go wrong with this boot and they are always in style. Highly recommend.

I waited for a discount, and a coupon to purchase these boots. They are a wise investment, but they may outlive me! My last Frye boots are well loved, never pampered, and still looking great! These boots have a sturdy base with plenty of stability. The heel height is perfect. I have so enjoyed them over the last few weeks. The color ? Wine? Suede is so sharp. I'm taking them to Key West for lots of walking on vacation. They were worth the wait!

I have the brown Veronica boots and just ordered the black. These boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on...very little "break-in" time. I love how they look with shorts or jeans or dresses. I am 58 years old and I plan on having these boots for the rest of my life. I LOVE FRYE!!

I've had these boots in the whiskey color for a couple months now and they are wonderful. They definitely need to be broken in and my heels paid the price for a while there, but now they are so comfortable. The burnished heel is so great and I wear them with dresses, jeans, slacks... The tongue on the right shoe has always slid off to the right, but otherwise they're great. I have a wide forefoot and narrower heel. I wear a 7 in Carson flats because of that. I got these in a 6.5 and they've been great. Not cramped at all surprisingly!

This is the second pair of Frye boots I have purchased and had to return. I loved the style and the construction. I wear a size 10.5 so ordered the size 11 Veronica Combat, unfortunately they were too narrow and too small. I am really disappointed again.

I first bought the Veronica Combat boot over three years ago. I'm a shoe minimalist, and literally wore that pair every single day for three years. For two of those years, I was living overseas in the Middle East, so they went with me on hiking trips in the deserts of Jordan and the mountains of Lebanon, in addition to daily life walking up and down the hills of Amman and avoiding traffic in Beirut. I wore them so hard that the leather molded to my feet and, sadly, I eventually even wore holes in them. I recently bought a brand new pair as replacements. Now that I'm back in the US and bartending full time, I continue to wear these boots every single day, even during doubles when I'm on my feet for 12+ hours. They are the most comfortable shoes I've owned and more than worth the cost.

The boots are gorgeous, high quality leather and soles. The laces are quite slippery and require a lot of retying, though that may change over time as they soften. The boots run narrow, even with thin socks. I wasn't sure I could keep them because they rub on my heels, but this has been getting better as I wear them more.
