I liked the sale price compared to the two others I've purchased in the past. It seems to do as intended but runs all the time where my others came on and off as needed.

would do better in a smaller space. Currently being used in a 900 sq ft home in Florida and cannot keep up with the humidity. Not too shabby for the price.

It removes moisture from the air ok but the continuous drains does work at all. Unless you plan to empty the bucket constantly DO NOT BUY this dehumidifier

TWO of these, running as hard as they can, aren't enough to get my 1100 square foot basement from 70% humidity down to 60% humidity. They certainly can't bring it down to 50%. They also, working together, cannot produce 30 pints of water per day.

Christmas gift

This was my first time using a dehumidifier. I am totally impressed at the amount of water this unit is drawing out of my room... it's shocking. I'm so glad I found this unit! I bought a second one for another room that needs some odor control after a flood. Great price %26 easy to follow instructions for initial set-up. highly recommend this product.

It is running continuously in my basement, which is what I purchased it for. I set the humidity to 55. It has taken two weeks, but it has gotten down to 58 when I checked this morning. So it is slowly working its way down. I have it draining right into my sump pump so it can just run and I never have to empty the tank.

I've tried every setting on this unit and it has not pulled a single drop of water from the air. I tested an old mini dehumidifier that I bought for $30 5 years ago in the same space and it worked. Was hoping to replace it with something newer and more powerful but this until was a total disappointment.

It was on clearance. It allows you to choose the level of humidity, has a feature to ionize the air. There is a hose provided of you want it to drain. My only issue is the container. First I need to empty it more frequently than daily, second it fills right to the top so it spills and third the bottom is not flat so you cannot set it down when it has water in it. Seems like a design flaw that the bottom of the collection chamber is not flat. That said I am happy with the purchase and have even considered getting a second one to keep up with the level of humidity

This little dehumidifier is a workhorse and does its job extremely well, however recently I had noticed that it was starting to make a sort of grinding noise, and now the fan no longer spins at all, allowing the actual dehumidifier to overheat and not function. The failure point seems to be the motor mounts in the attached photo. It must have been slowly melting/vibrating itself out of position to such a degree that the fan now makes full contact with the outer wall. I tried to push it back in to place but it is firmly set in this tilted position, making me think that the fan mounts melted themselves somehow. It doesn't run constantly and dehumidifies a relatively small area for its capacity, so I can't imagine how this happened. Any manufacturer support would be appreciated as I can't figure out how to get it open to fix this without breaking a considerable amount of the plastic housing.
