I've been using Nutrisse for years. This new formula is too thick to use with one hand. I had to use two hands to squeeze. I don't have arthritis. I shaked the bottle for a long time but it did not help. Also, please make "fruit oil" easy to open without tools. I always have to use a scissor to cut open but the oil spills all over.

I love this color, it's just as the description says a golden mahogany brown. My hair color came our a little lighter than the box which suprised me because most dyes don't do anything to my thick, dark, wavy/curly hair but add a tint you sometimes can only see in the sun. My hair is really soft and stays shiny and the color lasts!! I only use shampoo without sulfates so that probably helps it stay vibrant. Definitely recommend looks very natural

I have used this product for many years and loved it. Your NEW formula is absolutely horrible. It is way too thick and takes two hands to get it out of the bottle. I can't stand it, please return to the old formula or I suppose I'll be looking for another brand.

I have dark blonde/light brown hair that is usually professionally highlighted. With salons closed, I needed something to brighten up my hair. I bought this, left it on for the recommended 25 minutes. The color is fine...but not as light as I was expecting. That's OK - rather have it subtle than a disaster. It's rather flat - no depth. But that's to be expected with all-over color, I suppose.It did leave my hair in very nice condition. I'm pleased overall. This would be a great base color to have professionally highlighted.

New formula that's supposedly “improved” has actually went backwards. This newer formula has no anti brass tones in it and turned my hair extremely yellow, also my hair felt extremely strange afterwards like the whole texture felt weird and the worst part to be honest is this new formula is so harsh on the scalp as I had literal scabs and oozing sores on in multiple places on the back of my head that bled on and off for nearly a week. Please don't use this if you have ever had a scalp issues or have a sensitive scalp because I was horrified. I bought two boxes expecting this formula to be as good as the last one but now I'll just have to throw the second box in the trash after this disastrous and may I say very painful experience.

I bought this color today and am sad that I put this in my beautiful hair....My hair is now BLACK. If you want black hair this is the dye for you, if your looking for a rich dark brown with gold undertones I do not recommend using this product. After shampooing my hair with clarifying shampoo about 10 times today the color is starting to fade. Its sad that I have to try and fade the dye the same day that I put it in. Not happy....

I purchased this about a month or two ago in anticipation of going darker for the fall/winter months. Much to my surprise, after it was finished, not only was it very dark, but in the light it is purple. When I went outside, the effect was even more dramatic and my entire head was quite purple, not red, not "cherry", but purple. There is a significant difference between cherry "red" and purple. My head is purple, not dark red. I have to go to work like this in a hospital and in a professional capacity. There are a lot of bright lights in a hospital. Again, I am not happy with this. I am a long-time customer and have never had this problem before. You may want to double check your definition of "cherry" and re-evaluate this particular color.

From the first time I used this color (4 years ago) I have gotten compliments from every age, gender and race. People will stop me wherever I am and tell me they love my color! The first time I used it I went to dinner at my daughter's house and my grandchildren said, “YaYa, your hair is purple!” I did not realize that because it doesn't look like that in normal light. Purple is my favorite color.. so, bonus!!!! My only problem is that I can't find this color anymore and I am not a happy camper.

I have spent years searching for the perfect chocolate brown shade and I have finally found it! My hair is naturally dark so after applying this color, my hair turned out to be a dark chocolate brown shade with red and golden tones which is perfect for me. It will appear to be a much lighter chocolate shade on someone with lighter hair. Not only am I in love with the color, I also love it's none drip formula. I didn't even need to use anything to hold my hair up since it stayed nicely in place after I applied it all over my scalp and hair. I have also had bad experiences with other dyes, which have left me with an itchy scalp but this one is great on my scalp. I highly recommend this brand and this hair color for anyone who is trying to go for a nice dark brown.

I have been using #42 for years. Recently purchased a box only to discover that it was 'orange' in the bottle. Thought I purchased the wrong color. I did not. It seems the formula was changed causing the color to be different. I am so disappointed and embarrassed about how my hair looks now. Why make changes to something that was perfect before. I can see from other reviews that I am not the only person who has experienced this issue. I am sad to say I am no longer a loyal customer of Garnier products.
