I only bought this because Walmart stopped carrying World's Best Cat Litter, so I decided to try this instead as World's Best is very expensive in pet stores. This Tidy Cats product is TERRIBLE! The very first time my cat used it, he used it to urinate and it pretty much turned to mud. It didn't absorb or clump the urine at all like it should, instead it just got all stuck in his paws and bit on the rest of him as well as he tried to bury it. Afterwards he was tracking it all over the house and trying flick/scrape it off his paws on whatever surfaces he could find. I can't say enough bad things about this product, DO NOT buy it!

The worst clumping litter I have ever wasted money on. Does not form tight clumps, and tracks all over my house. Even with an extra large litter catching mat in front of the box. The only positive thing about this litter is it is considerably lighter than others. Every other aspect is absolute garbage, even the scent is terrible.

I had high hopes for this new lightweight litter, especially when I saw how dust free it was supposed to be.  Loved the lightweight, and the scent while a bit overpowering is pleasant enough.  The clumping is great and I had no issues with excess litter being dragged around (at least not more so than any other litter).  The deal breaker for me is that the litter is not dust free at all.  In fact it creates more dust than any other litter I have used.  Interestingly enough, when you pour it out of the container it makes no dust.  When my cat walks on it or I scoop it out, there is a ton of dust.  It seems like once those little lightweight granulars are crushed or broken, they just turn to dust.  The entire bathroom where I keep the litter is covered with dust, and my long hair cat smells like the litter all the time because no doubt she is also covered in dust.  So back to square one in the quest to find the perfect litter.   

I gave it 1 star because it clumps, but this litter deserves no star. The perfume scent is too strong. Keeping the litter box clean doesn't stop the perfume scent to increase every day to a point that the whole house stinks, and if a window is open you can smell it even outside! All Tidy Cats "lightweight" products have the same problem. Too bad this lightweight brand isn't available unscented.

I bought this litter when it first came out hoping my cats wouldn't turn their noses up at it. We all know how finicky felines an be. I loved that I didn't have to lug a huge, heavy box into the house like before. Now I can carry this easy to handle container and other bags in all at the same time.  My cats didn't have a problem with the switch. The product had the same Tidy Cats smell that they were use to and they did their business just as before. I LOVE this product! Not only is it light weight but I think it also performs better than ever. It clumps up nicely and does not break apart during scooping. Plus the clumps are even a little lighter. Thank you for making a product that exceeds expectations. 

I have been using Tidy Cats Lightweight litter for about 2 months, it absorbs very well but I have found the litter all over my house. It is high tracking and obviously sticks to my cats feet, which is then dispersed throughout the house. I will go back to regualar Tidy Cats clumping litter from now on.

Thought I would give this a try, and I will never buy it again! Even with the mat in front of the box that traps excess litter, it sticks to their feet and it is tracked everywhere! On the floors, on the couch, the litter mat is constantly full. And it's so attractive having the couch constantly covered in litter! (it's really not) Also the clumps just fall apart when cleaning the box. It does keep the smell down though. Never again, it's disgusting.

Sophie is a rescue. She was 8 months old when I brought her home 2 years ago with a “starter” litter pan and litter that was given to me. She was slowly recovering, but greatly weakened, from near starvation and trauma. She seemed to have difficulty pawing through the litter and covering her waste. I thought this might be because of the trauma she experienced or, perhaps, she was not taught proper litter-box usage as a young kitten. A family member wondered if the problem might be the litter pan and/or litter. I was willing to try anything. I purchased the largest litter pan I could and filled it with the lightest litter I could find, Tidy Cats Lightweight. I was amazed to see how much easier Sophie could paw through the litter! Right away she began attempting to cover her waste up. I worked with her as she got stronger and, over time, her litter box “etiquette” improved. In addition, this litter has other fine qualities such as appreciable odor control, great absorbency and fantastic clumping. I consider Tidy Cat Lightweight to be a superior litter. Finally, because I have my own physical strength limitations, I am appreciative to be able to purchase a litter that doesn't require my asking someone to carry the litter jugs for me. My issues aside, however, I will always be grateful there was a litter that made such a noticeable difference to my beloved Sophie. We like it. We really like it.

I bought the product because it was advertised as being light weight - which it is, BUT it produces a lot of dust/dusty white film that is everywhere on and around my litter box.  I like the lighter weight but I do NOT like the dust/film.  I will not buy this again.  It says it is 99.9% dust free.......not true.

I bought this litter 2 weeks ago and didn't like it at all. It was dusty, and the litter got all over my house, I even have the litter catch mats and my cat still got the litter every where. It had a strong urine odor to it and I only have one cat. Even when you scooped the box it was still smelly. I made the mistake of buying the big box of litter. I used just one little box full and threw the stuff out.I love Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal so much more.
