We've used this cat litter fur years now. It clumps nicely. I Sunny like the dust when I scoop the waste out, but it clumps very well. It also controls odors well.

Good price but it's weak on litter odor. I find myself changing the litter after 3 days. I smell litter box after that short time.

I sought out this website specifically to leave a review: this product is fabulous. No more lugging heavy, awkward boxes of cat litter up and down stairs. Not only is it super-light, it also works incredibly well (I have two cats). No more gross wet mush on the bottom of the box. It clumps perfectly and is neat and clean...it even has a perfect smell, just slightly fragrant but not overwhelming. And compared to other litters, you don't wind up wasting tons of litter, because of the excellent clumping factor. I'm never going back to other litters!

I just started this a couple weeks ago and it is amazing. I have terrible problems with the dust from litters and this one seems practically dust free. I cannot believe how light it is which is a huge plus since many times I needed help getting the litter off the shelf at the store and into my car. It does track but the litter mat does pick most of it up. Also I like that the scent is much lighter and more pleasant then other litters. The biggest plus is Shadow loves it! 

I used this for the first time and I was worried my kitties wouldn't use it because the y are so picky.  I have 2 boxes in the house and I put this in the one that is used less just in case.  And to my surprise they were using that one more than the other one.  It seemed to stay fresh longer and I love the scent.  So we are all happy : )

Love this litter! When I first got my Maine Coon I used some of the other Tidy Cats litters (Powerblend, 24/7 Performance, Instant Action etc), but ultimately wasn't that impressed with them and switched to Fresh Step instead- The Fresh Step clumped a lot stronger, tracked less, and smelled better, in my opinion. However, I always hated that it came in 25 lb boxes that were pretty unwieldly to carry if I had other shopping to do. And with such a big cat, we were buying litter pretty frequently. So, when I saw the Tidy Cats LightWeight commercials, I wanted to give Tidy Cats another chance, and am thrilled that not only is it super light weight as advertised, it clumps great and has very little dust (not sure why other reviewers have said it's dusty). The only little negatives are that it does track a bit more than my old Fresh Step, and it's a little more pricey. But it's great to be able to easily carry and transport two or three of these containers at a time, and I really do think it's the best clumping out of all the Tidy Cats litters. Some of the others were very muddy clumpers, which made the litterbox hard to clean and smelly. This works great, though!

I purchased this litter about a month ago and replaced one of my 2 litter boxes with this lightweight litter. My cats have no qualms about it. I originally bought it purely based on the lighter weight but I've found that the best feature of this litter is the ease of cleaning the box. I'm sure anyone with a cat knows how they love to urinate at the very bottom or the edge of the litter box and trying to scoop out these clumps can be disastrous at times. The clumps always break apart and then leave smaller pieces that fall through the scoop and remain in the box. I've had much greater success with the lightweight litter as it tends to remain intact when scooping, making daily clean up much easier and will likely lessen the need to have to dump all the litter and scrub the litter boxes to replace with all new litter. I haven't noticed the cats tracking any more litter than usual around the house either. My only complaint is the price but I'm hoping this will drop once it becomes the new standard for litter.

I've given it a month's try before reviewing and would totally swap over in a heartbeat except I have one cat who doesn't like strong scents that won't go near it.  My other cats took to it immediately.  Having litter that doesn't weigh a ton is amazing, it clumps well, it takes the abuse of multiple cats well, and it lasts almost as long as a 20lb box so I'm not going to gripe about the price.  In my honest opinion though, whoever reported it being nearly dust free needs to go back to their lab reports (if any).  It's dusty, at least as dusty as the regular Tidy Cats I use and it does track out of the box.  It's Light though!  Make it light and scent free and it will be all I buy in the future!

My 4 cats are using this superior quality cat litters. Our home is odourless and that's what truly matters.

Have been buying this product for years and it no longer supports odor control. They have somehow changed the formula and rendered it useless
