(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I purchased this unit because it's advertised as a "Carpet & Upholstery Deep Cleaner". In my opinion, clean means to wash something so it's clean. To vacuum something picks up loose dirt so it removes that dirt, however vacuuming does not clean stains, ergo to remove stains you must clean/shampoo. While it does a fair job as a vacuum, the carpet cleaning function leaves a lot to be desired. When using the cleaning/shampoo option, the brushes frequently get clogged up and it takes time to use the tool they provide to remove the dirt/hair that accumulates in the brush head. Also, I was not able to use the "clean/shampoo" function for my upholstery nor my stairs - the attachments merely function as a vacuum only. So much for the "Upholstery Deep Clean" wording on the box. For the money I spent on this unit, I would have been better off hiring a carpet cleaning company to come in and do my carpets and stairs.

Had an old bissell that finally wore out that did a great job so I decided to stick with the brand and purchased this one. I am very pleased with it, does a great job and very easy clean up of tanks and nozzle when finished. Would definitely recommend this machine to anyone. Worth the price.

I received my Bissell Proheat 2X Revolution cleaner about 2 weeks and used it to clean my three rooms of carpeting. To my surprise, the carpet came out beautiful and dried in a couple of hours. I am the professional carpet cleaner now. Always had my carpets cleaned twice a year Saving money now. Thanks Bissell. I highly recommend this cleaner

The drive belt broke after 4 uses. Poorly manufactured for replacing belt with screws going into plastic which will strip when removed and reinstalled a few times and will likely require frequent removal if the belt breaks so easily. It does work well when it is working but if it continues to be so troublesome it is not worth it.

This carpet cleaner has very little suction in the upright position. If I do use it upright, I have to go back over it with the hand tool to get the water up. What is the point of having an upright if you can not use it while it is upright??? It's also heavy. Don't buy this.

It did a good job the first and second time it was ran... And then on the third time it wasn't running correctly..So opened it up to look and make sure a belt hadn't broken somehow.. Turns out the molded in gear teeth at the end of the brush roller was completely melted.. Ok weird but should be covered under warranty right? Wrong, I'm told that the roller brushes are replenishment items and not covered under warranty.. This trash is getting returned to the store it came from, dispute filed with my CC for defective equipment... And I'll purchase a competitor's product instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I was super hesitant as I've had a number of Bissell upright and spot carpet cleaners and have had the attachment neck on hose break on three of them during heavy scrubbing, which makes for a huge hassle on older models to change out hose , so I initially bought a hoover smartwash when my last upright died. Hoover hoses have a super robust neck attachment that allows for super heavy duty scrubbing with no risk of breakage, and the engine amperage is significantly higher then the Bissell which I assumed would mean better suction. Alas, the smartwash was super loud and the belt actually broke after just 2 months, and my carpet isn't that lush. After watching YouTube reviews, especially vacuum wars, I decided to give this model a try since the attachment hose was completely removable ,unlike my last Bissell, I figured if it broke I could just get a new hose. I was floored with how amazing this thing was right away. Even with less engine amperage, I felt both it had better suction than the smart wash in both upright mode and hose use. I still wish Bissell would upgrade it's hose attachment neck weakness, but I will definitely recommend this to anyone. My only other complaint is that there isn't a separate tank for solution, so you can't do a rinse easily, but that's not a huge deal

Best shampooer EVER !!!! We have owned several different machines and this by far is the superior cleaner. So lightweight, user friendly, deep cleaning (gets out stains other machines couldn't. I could go on forever but just be assured you will be so satisfied with this machine!

Purchased this model Jan 2019 because it was light weight, easy to fill and empty and had a good warranty. I tested when it arrived to make sure it functioned. Today I go to clean carpets and although there appeared to be suction at the red filter under the dirty water tank the machine was not picking up any water at all. After reading the manual online, calling support 3 times and googling how to videos- 3 hrs later I finally go the machine to operate correctly-at least for the time being. It was about 10 minutes away from being thrown in the trash and me taking a loss. I expected the machine to work longer than 30 minutes and never expected it to take me 3 hrs to get the operating. First help person told me to remove the brushes and clean them. That's were trouble started with the belts on the brushes and it went downhill from there. If I'm lucky enough to get even 1 yrs use out of the machine I'll be surprised. Compared to my Hoover the suction power it terrible too.!

This is replacement for a very old cleaner and it is much improved in terms of the water tanks' ease-of-use, and cleaning it when you're done. (Especially the little tool to clean out the intake.) The older one was awkward, and never really clean. I like how it has settings for more or less water spray, using less on things like thin area rugs. The old one was only used once in a while 'cause it was a hassle. I can see using this as part of more regular cleaning. Very pleased with my purchase and initial performance.
