After 1 use, noticed the clean water tank leaks at all times. Sat the machine to the side w/ a half full water tank so I could take a break and come back to it in a half hour. Carpet saturated under the machine when I came back and less water in the tank. When I take the clean or dirty tank off, they both drip while walking to the sink. When using the tools, it leaks water out from under the machine at the same time. When done spot cleaning an area w/ tools, I have to then suck up all the water it leaked onto the carpet under the machine. Dirty tank is small so needs to be emptied often. Small problem if it is getting a lot of dirt out. The leaking was tolerable if only used once in a while. With a new puppy in the house now...taking this back to get something else!

This carpet cleaner really works. My 23 year old white wool blend wall to wall carpet almost looks like new carpet now. This machine does what it claims it will. PLUS Bissell customer service is tops! I had a problem... my own fault... not a product problem, they really took care of me. Love the cleaner. Love this company. I've owned their products before. I'm a lifetime customer now.

This is replacement for a very old cleaner and it is much improved in terms of the water tanks' ease-of-use, and cleaning it when you're done. (Especially the little tool to clean out the intake.) The older one was awkward, and never really clean. I like how it has settings for more or less water spray, using less on things like thin area rugs. The old one was only used once in a while 'cause it was a hassle. I can see using this as part of more regular cleaning. Very pleased with my purchase and initial performance.

We bought this machine with high expectations. The first 2 times we used it, it worked pretty well. We had issues with leaking, though. The 3rd time I tried to use it, it wouldn't dispense water. We took it back to the store, and they replaced it. This one dispenses water well, but has no suction to pick up the dirt and water. We read the "trouble shooting" directions, did exactly what they said, and still we have soaking wet carpet. This is a piece of garbage - don't waste your money.

I have always owned Bissell for steam cleaners and shampoos. Only the little green machine kind though. I was expecting a good job but not as good as a rental. I own 3 cats along with other pets. I also run a Dayhome and have 3 of my own kids. My rugs are walked on all day long. When I used this machine I was really impressed with how easy it was to handle and how long the water tank lasted. I did the stairs and couches with the smaller accessories and the furniture came out nicely as well as the stairs. The floors took not long to dry and it looks cleaner then when I use a rental. A very good buy. I would recommend to anyone☺

I use the product regularly to keep my carpets fresh, clean and stain free. The machines design and various cleaning modes permit quick cleaning for general use and deep cleaning as well for heavily soiled areas as well. The design and operation are flawless - I highly recommend - just outstanding in all areas.

This shampooer replaced a ProHeat machine I bought a few years ago that stopped working. This new one seems easier to use and is more thorough in the cleaning of the machine, which I like. I've only used it once, and for a small project, but so far I love it!

This is the best carpet cleaner ever. I bought a home that needed some love to say the least. The carpet had stains. I thought okay that will be a project. Then we got a puppy and I am not in a position to do new flooring yet. I bought this carpet cleaner and used it today! My carpet looks new! Yes new! The stains that were there are gone. The puppy stains and urine stains and smell gone! Why did I wait so long to buy this?

Had a great first experience. Carpets had not been cleaned and pets were not easy on them. Considered a professional to do the job. I had hopes that carpet could look better, but felt it was a long shot. First time I've ever run a carpet shampooer, cleaned the living room where everybody hangs out. I wish I would have taken a before and after picture, the difference is astounding. It was easy and fast and the carpets were dry just a few hours later. Looking forward to doing the rest of the house!

The Bissell ProHeat 2X is everything that it claims to be and actually a bit more. I have finally purchased the perfect machine to clean those "any size," jobs. It doesn't take much effort to pull out this lightweight bissell to keep my area rugs clean and without any water residue left on my floors. I have made one of the smartest purchases ever and will continue to shop for more of Bissell's products.
